They have really good food and serving sizes for a reasonable price. We always go through the drive thru as the area inside is... very small and there really isn't any parking lot. You can park on the street and walk over, but the drive thru is the easiestway. Read more
I never see them open but saw they were when I was driving by today so I decided to swing by and pick up lunch. My daughter got... a quesadilla kids meal, rice and beans were bland but fine. The quesadilla tasted rotten. I got a Carne asada torta and it wasthe worst torta I've ever had. Mostly lettuce, hardly any meat, onion or tomato and the bun tasted very old and stale. Still my fav Mexican restaurant in Oregon. Originally from California it was hard for us to find great mexican food in the... salem/dallas area. After trying a couple dozen this one is hands down is my #1 my favorite items are the carne asada fries andthe chorizo bean and potato burrito with cheese. My guy gets his carnitas burrito everytime. I've been here about 3 times now &I think today will be my last. The employee at the drive through window wasn't very warm/... inviting. Each time I get my burritos there's an aftertaste to it I'm not fond of. It's probably a spice used in the marinade orseasoning of some kind that I'm not familiar with. Additionally, today for some reason I was given my burrito (which was somehowsquare shaped & not round?) inside of a Wal-Mart Pharmacy bag...so that was odd too. In a nutshell I received poor customerservice and odd presentation which is enough to deter me from returning again. Read more
Great local family owned business serving fresh hot Mexican specialties and American favorites. Don't miss this quaint little... drive though if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed. Plus they have tamales fresh by the bulk and by the combo withall the right stuff. Read more
After reading all the great reviews they have I feel that I must speak truthfully about my experience. I hate bad reviews but I... must have gone on the wrong day or time of day. The chicken tacos were dry with a bland taste to them. The burritos i ordered(carne asada) tasted like they just scooped some leftover unheated meat into a tortilla and poured green sauce over it. Nothingabout it was warm. No beans, no rice in it and it was a very bad experience for us. I hope they do better but too late for us. Read more
I went to La Herradura Mexican Food to try some food and they had Mexican Hot chocolate for only $3.00 what a steal! It was so... good I recommend trying it. The service was amazing and the food had good flavor. The chicken supreme is so good packed withflavor and cheap. And the tamales taste so good. Read more
