Very nice pub. Seems quite family friendly during the day. I haven?t been at night. There?s a decent approx ~15 beers on tap... with maybe 10 being craft. We were seated quickly and the food was quite nice. I recommend this place for a relaxing afternoonmeal. Read more

Food and service was great! I gave 4-star because that step down at the front door is really going to hurt somebody. Definitely... should make a little ramp or something. Read more

The service is great ?buuuttttt?. Here?s my reason for 3 stars. We love Sammy?s in Belmont and go there quite often. Lately I?ve... had to spend some time in Dallas, so I have gone to that location, Sammy?s, for dinner twice. The first time mythree--year-old?s cheeseburger was so raw I had to send it back, and now, this is their example of a medium well burger. It wastakeout for my son so I couldn?t take it back and just happened to look at it now that he?s halfway through. I think there needsto be a discussion on meat temps. Read more

Service and food was great! Even the bathrooms were very clean! We got the fish and chips and shared since it?s a big meal and I... tried the champagne drink which was good just needed to be cold. All in all if you?re ever in Dallas, I recommend this place,it?s awesome! Read more

Dallas has long DESERVED a dining and drinking spot like Sammy's and I am glad she finally got her reward. I enjoy sharing the... experience of a great meal with folks, and take extreme pleasure recommending Sammy's here in my hometown. The space is wellappointed and clean, the food is delicious, representing an excellent value, and the service is genuinely friendly and superblyskilled. Somehow the management team here (Kudos, Graham and Holly) has managed to secure a mix of seasoned hospitalityprofessionals (Hi Jessica & Rebekah!) and eager young bucks/does (Yo Bryson & Rebecca) to perform Sammy's front of the housemagic. My earliest memories of Dallas' town square are of visiting Mary Jo's cloth store with my grandmother way back in theearly 1970's. How well I remember the black smoke of the fire that took May Jo's away in the 80's. I saw the town struggle tofind its footing for a couple of decades. It has taken a bit for dining tastes and local liquor laws to catch up with 21stCentury Dallas . . but HERE WE ARE! I dined here three times before rendering my opinion, and all 3 meals were great! Thefish & chips would satisfy the fussiest Englishman and the grilled salmon was flakey and moist as it should be. While I enjoyeda flavorful duo of pork chops and fresh yellows squash, my poker buddy Johnny heartily endorsed his mixed trio of tacos. (It wasTuesday, of course!) The iced tea is fresh-brewed and available sweet as Providence would have it poured, unsweetened for thePhilistines among us, and diluted as necessary for the rest. (The java I am enjoying now with my strawberry compote-toppedcheesecake is also freshly brewed.) Upstairs is a separate dining room which might easily accommodate your own privatefunctions, while out back, there's a non-smoking deck fitted with umbrella-sheltered tables for enjoying our mild Carolinaseasons. On my last trip here, a bustling Friday night in mid-October, this joint was hopping with a welcoming crowd of c Read more

Stopped in to Sammy?s for lunch today. Our first time at the Dallas location. Food and service was very good. We had the... pickle spear appetizer, my wife had the Southwestern Eggrolls and I had the Arroz Con Pollo. The chips were a littleover-cooked, but still good. Nice experience for first visit.
