The food was great, and affordable. The employees are nice. Everything is very clean and homely. The booths are simple but... comfortable. The bathrooms are single person, but have everything you could need while still looking fancy. The sinks areornately designed bowls with beautiful patterns and plenty of room to wash your hands. Place is super clean, with lovely decor, and great staff. The food was mostly great. I kept tasting something in the salsa that... I can't put my finger on - maybe parsley? It threw me off enough to mention. The menu consisted of the base meals typicallyfound at these restaurants, though I couldn't help but notice a few missing. Smaller menu isn't necessarily a bad thingthough. Plates are huge with food spread thin. But we did get filled up! Rice was fantastic. Best I've had at any Mexicanrestaurant. The fried ice cream was... Eh... They didn't have the volcano cake that I originally wanted but fried ice cream isa great treat too. This time it wasn't.. the ice cream was hard, the outer shell chewy and the bowl, while crunchy, just tastedstale. I was very much underwhelmed by my experience. Definitely give this place a try. If you are at the motel or truck stop next door, you have to stop in for a cheap, delicious meal. It was well with the $15!
