My husband and I are VERY disappointed with our purchase. We ordered a carryout Large Three-Topping hand-tossed pizza with extra... cheese, pepperoni and banana peppers. When we got home with the pizza we noticed it looked like a thin crust pizza, there werehardly any banana peppers, and the cheese looked like an average amount. Each slice had a normal layer of cheese, NOT extra, 1-2pepperoni slices, and two (2) halves of a "baby" banana pepper. I had to add my own banana peppers to the pizza to make it atall flavorful. If that wasn't enough, the sauce was translucent, almost non-existent. Papa John's used to be my favorite pizzaplace because it was exactly as advertised. NOT ANYMORE! So I?ve been going here and loving the NY style pizza. I tried another kind, had an issue, they made it right. Good guys.
Ok its story time. I ordered the epic pepperoni stuffed crust pizza online. And added extra cheese for a extra fee. Now I go get... the pizza. Which is 20 minutes from my house. I get home and to my utter delight find there is not a single pepperoni on thepizza. So of course I call the store and the manager not so politely told me that I ordered it without the pepperoni. I told himthat no. I wanted pepperoni AND extra cheese. Which I paid extra for. He told me that all he could or would do is give me a 50percent discount on another pizza. Now why would I pay again for another pizza that they could not get right in the first place. Sir I say look at your box. And see what it says. This is not the way to get or keep good paying customers. This is not 100percent customer satisfaction. This is not the pizza pictured on the flyer or on the website. He also said the extra cheese thatI added took the place of my pepperoni. Why wouldn't I have just ordered a cheese pizza for a cheaper price then if I wantedpepperoni in the first place. This is customer satisfaction and problem solving at its best sir... never again.. I wasted 39dollars on this whole order. Way to go Dade City papa John's manager... Read more
