Wanted to update my review after 4 years of living in the area. Look, if your town doesn't have that one good mexican/tex-mex... restaraunt, then it isn't a town worth living in. This is the place worth going to in the area. Does it have some shortcomings? ... yes. But you're going to enjoy the vast majority of what's on the menu. To expensive. Carnitas burrito, small queso, and a coke was $24 and change. Not a lot of food on plate. Chips and salsa are... pre package. Good luck staying under $15 for an entree. Read more
We love going to Maria's on Friday or Saturday. Not ever busy, but probably the best Margarita in Dacula. The food is good... too. Read more
We got chicken tortilla soup, chicken burrito supreme, churros and a chicken nachos. The soup was great - 10/10. The burrito was... just a tortilla filled with so much unseasoned shredded chicken with some sauce on top. Maybe some people enjoy it like that butit wasn?t that good. My nachos had no cheese or queso. Just chips, with unseasoned shredded cheese, some lettuce, tomatoes andsour cream. How is that nachos? Churros were good but they said it came with chocolate sauce but the chocolate sauce was prettymuch Hershey topping. Read more
I don?t particularly like this restaurant (we?ve had several dismal failures of eating there) but I?ve enjoyed their queso. I... ordered a large queso to go and the price not only went up by $2 (ok inflation I get that) but the size was HALF of what I usedto get. Like what in the what?? I really like this little place. Clean and very nice. It has outside seating,sports TV's and music. Our waitress was really nice... and the service was good too. It is a little expensive though. Not too awful bad. I enjoyed the fried ice cream and tacos, whichwere great!! Had fun and if I am ever back up that way I would visit again. Hope you all enjoy. Read more

Although service is good, I don't expect this place to be open much longer. We dined here on a Saturday night and only one other... table in the place. Something is wrong here. Six months ago, food and service were excellent. One day we went in for lunch andthe manager was the only person who showed up for work. He was host, cook, waiter, bartender. That sounds like he made theemployees mad and they all called out sick. I am not real picky, but two visits in a row I was served tiny salads. My lastmeal there of beef tasted like fish. This used to be a great spot, but it has gone 'way downhill in the past six months. Read more
