Check the expiration dates and food quality before you leave the store!!! We bought a few things that were expired or had gone... bad. Stuffed grape leaves for example where rotten. Overly expensive, refrigerated and rotten. Their return policy is verycomplicated and you can't almost return a thing. Always take your freaking receipt because if you walk out of that door and goback 5 minutes later after discovering the item you bought is bad and ask for a return they will say no. The manager has toalways approve returns and that manager is hardly ever there when you need them. The pita bread is more expensive than it shouldbe and always dry. I'm not sure where they get their products but there's always $1-$3 extra even on small things compared toother stores like Almadina and Phoenicia. An example is Ghee. The same size is more than $2 more expensive. I mean why??? It'sseriously not a place to shop. Maybe grab a thing or 2 when you need them and can't drive 30+ minutes to a decent middle easternmarket. Taza is one of my favorite food places to go to! My experience is always a 10/10 with the amazing customer service and how it?s... always so kept up with. The food there is perfection and prices are good for the quality and quantity. Even if I want to buysnacks, they have the best selection to choose from. It?s always my go to and I recommend it to everyone! Read more

I never really review places but the food here is so amazing and the service is great so I had to. Me and my family buy... groceries from here every weekend because the food is unbelievably good and it?s so hard to get really good authenticmediterranean food without driving a lot. You get a really big portion of food for your money and it tastes amazing and all thepeople there are super sweet and make an effort to talk to you/ get to know you it really adds to the authentic feel. Couldn?trecommend it more!! 10/10 (also try the italian saj it?s really good) Read more

Baklava was great. food was decent. Wasn't served steaming hot.. Chicken was dry and the temperature of the room was the same as... outside. They had fans on but we all know how hot it is outside in houston this summer. Couldn't cool off yo save my life. Read more

Part small grocery store, part small restaurant, this is not only a literal taste of mediterranean food but also its culture.... You wouldn?t think you could find such quality in the middle of this humble interception in Cypress, but this place is so greatthat it?s become my default go-to for my dinner on most weekdays (to the point the staff already knows what I?m getting bywalking in). I have gotten the same plate every time and they cook it GREAT every single time! I almost never leave reviews, but this is my favorite eating place close to home, so it totally deserves it. My applause to the cooks! Read more

First visit to this store. We had the Taza Mixed Grill and it came with a ground beef kabob, ground chicken kabob and chicken... kabob with charred onions, grilled tomato and large pita bread. The flavors were great and we enjoyed it. They also have aMediterranean market. Will return. Read more

This place was a complete surprise, i love this place. It's a store with a restaurant inside. I was heading to Cypress and I... wanted Middle Eastern food, my niece told me to try Taza! It closes at 8pm so I had to hurry ,the kitchen was still open whenwe arrived , yay! Since it was so late the items were limited, however I did have some of the best chicken biryani , largeportions, smelled so delicious and my gf had falafel(i think). The store itself is stocked with an array of Middle Easternfoods. I enjoyed looking at all the spices and purchased one called Casablanca Yemen Spices 7 oz bottle for $3.49 (great forgrilling chicken and potatoes). Perfect blend , not to salty. As you can see from the pictures , they carry a good deal ofproducts for such a small store. My niece lives in Cypress and I am starting to think I don't visit her enough! :) Enjoy , Peaceout!
