Sadly, you try support local businesses yet receive poor service. I placed a take out order. The manager is VERY unprofessional.... Firstly it was disgusting for the manager to ask a customer ?if you would like change? YES, ma?am I am not obligated to TIP.You should assume I would like change. Tremendously I didn?t tip. My order was packed with a dirty plate! My son notice howsticky and stains were displayed on the boxes. I discussed the issue with the manager, she said ?oh we will recook your order,it may was oil on your plate.? Ok which oil causes floor stains? I could careless it is disgusting to think this is acceptable.Nevertheless, repackaged order was dirty as well. Last, Last! Read more
The service was fantastic, the food in general was good except the steak. Three people in my party ordered medium rare steaks... and got well done. Everyone in my party said that we shouldn't order steak at a Hibachi, what do y'all think? Read more
We thought it should be a nice restaurant. But the inside is too plain and not clean. The food is normal not matching its... prices at all especially grill. Sushi is freshly made but no features. One time visit is enough. Read more
I wasn't impressed at all. The service was awful. Went with a party of 12 people for Mother's Day, after my niece convinced us... the restaurant was excellent, so we drove over an hour to celebrate there. We had a reservation for 6:30 pm, but we had towait 2 hours to be seated (8:30 pm), not to mention it was very uncomfortable inside. It was as if they had no air conditioningon, and when the chef's were cooking at other tables, the heat from the grill made it even hotter. After we were seated thewaiter took our drink orders and and at this time we ordered our food as well. The drinks were brought out promptly, but wedidn't receive our soup, salad, and spring rolls until after 9 pm, and they close at 10 pm. We asked to speak to the manager,but she never came, so after about 20 minutes of waiting for her, someone in our party looked for her. She knew that we had anissue, so she sent the chef to our table immediately, but she never came to the table to address our issues. After the personin our party spotted her, she was very inconsiderate and rude, and offered us a 10% discount (for a party of 12), and we leftthe establishment. I will never, ever, ever frequent this restaurant again, or recommend this restaurant. I was sodisappointed, because I felt like the money was more important than the service provided. Nice location, good service. Food is depending what you ordered. The bento box with Filet was good, meat was tender and fried... rice was nicely cooked. However, the sashimis 5 combination platter was not fresh, the cut was too thick almost, 1 inch thick.Eating raw foods with thick cut was not appetite. Read more
Went and ordered three adult steak dinners. Steak didn?t look that great when they put it on the grill but figured we?d give it... a chance. Once I received my steak it instantly had a foul taste (even my 6yo voiced how bad it tasted) it was clearly OLD meat,it may not have been stored properly. Manager was made aware and they cooked us steak in the back. Well the portions (picturedbelow) we received weren?t near an adult portion. I wouldn?t recommend this place and that?s just one of the many reasons why.Spoke with the manager after, she offered a credit for next time, I respectfully declined. There definitely won?t be a nexttime. Taking my business to Shoguns. I eat hibachi at least 3x monthly and this was by far the most awful experience. Read more
7/30/21 Was my first visit to Taisho. It was a Friday night and it was packed!! We had reservations for 8pm and we didn't get... seated for over 30 minutes. Then it took another 30 minutes before the Hibachi cook was able to get to our table. The food wasgreat and tasted perfectly. The hostess Sophia was amazing coming over and checking on us and making sure we were happy evenwith the long wait. All in all it was a good evening out and the experience was ok. Will have to make reservations for anearlier time for the next visit! Read more
We have gone here several times over the years. If dining in the grill area your food quality and taste is dependent on the... cook. Don't be afraid to ask for more salt, sauce, butter, lemon when they are cooking. Some of the cooks don't need thatdirection but others really do. The flavor varies by chef as does the show itself. The food is normally good but not stellar"wow". Read more
