Stopped by Sleek - Fairfield for lunch today. The restaurant had a handful of customers when I was there. The display case of... chocolates looked amazing. While the establishment was well decorated and clean, there were a couple of tables not yet cleaned.The waitstaff were quick and courteous. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo Crepe and a Caramel Crepe for dessert. The chicken Alfredocrepe came with a side salad, consisting of spring mix with a vinaigrette and grated parmesan cheese. It was pretty tasty. Thecrepe was great but the chicken Alfredo was missing the ? well, Alfredo flavor. Nothing about the flavor profile was close toAlfredo. Cubed chicken chunks almost in a semi-thick soup/sauce with what looked like some peas, soft carrots and some kind ofsquash? The caramel crepe was wonderful. Drizzled in caramel and sprinkled with powdered sugar. Then again, I LOVE caramel. 2crepes, cup of water, 10% inflation upcharge and gratuity ended up making this a 28.00 lunch for one. Planning to stop at a neighboring cookie joint, we stumbled in here instead. The smells were intoxicating! There were... chocolates, bon bons, gelato, sorbets, crepes, and a chocolate shawarma. A Kid's Crepe contains milk chocolate and powderedsugar for $5. An identical adult crepe is $10. I asked if our 2 adults could order a Kid's crepe and I was told it'd be the sameproduct but cost double. We ordered 2 Kid's Crepes and 1 Adult Caramel Crepe, plus they poured me a cup of milk. The total costwas just over $25! The tastes were sweet upon sweet. It really needed some whipped cream or cream cheese to cut all of thatsugar - and for the price, that doesn't seem unreasonable. The chocolate here is very pretty, but the flavors are basic. I had the sleek wrap and my girl had the strawberry crepe. The... wrap was so bland I had to put Tabasco sauce on it. Her crepe came with an overwhelming amount of whipped cream. The whippedcream was not very sweet giving the dish a good balance. Read more

Okay guys I normally like to really give an establishment great props, HOWEVER, with a with a name such as ?Sleek?, I knew I was... going to be in for a delicious meal. Well, I must say the food did not measure up to the name of the establishment. I was sohungry so I ate what I ordered(French Toast). Hubby had other items listed. The food was blah. Roasted potatoes were boiledpotatoes. French toast was brioche bread dipped in egg. Nothing had any flavor at all, and it surely was not prepared with lovefor food. If you decide to eat at Sleek Creperie, maybe you will enjoy it more than I did. This establishment surely will no getan encore from me. Read more

My wife loves this place and took me here one evening to grab a coffee. The place is fixed up very nicely, and in a great... location. You can eat there or grab a bite or drink and walk to various shops all in the same shopping center. While the placeis cool, I found the coffee to not be very good. My wife does all the elaborate coffee's, I do regular coffee with cream andcompare everything to Starbuck's Pike's Place. The coffee in Sleek was not very strong, and tasted very watered down. Alsotheir creamer is just Coffee Mate packets (about the cheapest, worst creamer you can get). I was not impressed. The chocolatecandies that we tried were good, and they have lots of interesting food items on the menu but I can't speak for how good theyare since we did not try any. A great family owned cafe, the name says creperie, but they are so much more! Sleek serves so many great homemade sweet and... savory decadent crepes. They have some of the best coffees and a huge assortment of handmade truffles. We had a dozen of theirtruffles and a Sleek Mocha Coffee and we were hooked!
