Service is usually pretty quick but not friendly - just very matter of fact, no service with a smile here. The glazed donuts are... delish when they're fresh. We are apple fritter fans and Shipley's are not my favorite because they're just filled with applepie filling instead of having real apple pieces cooked in the dough, like they should have. Still, they offer a good variety andconsistency. Read more

Went to purchase donuts for my son as I do every Sunday morning. I put in my order at the window and then asked if that was 6... donuts and the attendant very rudely explained I needed to wait and let her check because I confused her with my order. I guessI didn't know the complex math involved. I will be supporting the local mom and Pop donut shops moving forward. They are supernice and need our business. Obviously Shipley's has plenty they can afford to be rude and lose a customer. Read more

It was ok. Alot of the donuts were picked over . There were a few good selections but not much to choose from. The coffee was... really what made the experience a pleasant one. The lady at the front didn't seem like she wanted to be there on a Sunday. Towhich I understand but at least put a smile on when your doing customer service. Read more

The person taking my order had no clue what I was trying to ask for, I kept repeating it in English and even pointing to what... item I wanted. I finally did get the doughnut I wanted and the 2% bottled milk but after leaving I found out that I got a plainsausage kolache not a Spicy sausage and cheese kolache. It's hard to communicate with someone that doesn't speak basic English. Read more

I must agree with the terrible customer service and even worse coffee. Teach these young kids some manners and how to look... someone in the eye and NOT just throw a wad of change in their hand. The young man needs training and taught how to make a potof coffee as it was so watered down. There was a very sweet girl who actually asked me what I meant by sweet and low sugar andtold me she just moved here from Mexico I believe. Very sweet and at least she TRIED. Won't be going back. This is not the Shipley's I grew up on. You're honestly better off with any generic mom and pop donut shop down the street. The... kolaches are the most noticeable difference. The bread is way to thick and dense, there is hardly any cheese, and the sausagethis store uses tastes absolutely terrible. As for the donuts, every time I went the donuts were cold and stale, even when Iasked for a fresh plain glazed at 7:30 am. None of these are issues with Shipley's as a whole, just this store. Other locationsare still doing things right just like they always have. Read more

Donuts are good; kolaches are disappointing, and the staff never seem to get my order correct. The service is average. I am not... critical; I only leave comments when I feel compelled to share insight. The location is convenient off of Telge road. Read more
