Instead of the fried egg rolls, the server brought out a Friday roll, the handrolled tuna says 6 pieces-and it was, all in one... sushi wrap, not 6 individual pieces. Had to ask a table busser for water refills. Got the katzu don, which took over 30 minutesto come out and it was steamed rice with a clearly microwaved soggy pork chop with a grayish discolored egg. No seasoning, noflavor, just dry nuked mush. Extremely dissapointed since I live so close to it. Cypress has so few decent restaurants...willnever go back unless it's a complete system overhaul. We love the sushi and sashimi here The service is excellent.The servers really go out of their way and are very nice.
The first time I ordered from this place it was delicious. Every time since then it has tasted like something I'd get on the... buffet. No flavor or spices on any thg thing, all the meat is overcooked and dry, the fried rice is a solid 5 out of 10. Notworth what I paid at all. Read more
Nice local spot. The food was pretty good and the service was great. The atmosphere is intimate, great for a date night. There... is a hibachi area as well. There are so many menu options. I am a big fan of the shrimp katsu. The rolls and sashimi are greatas well. There is also a bar area. The decor is very nice and parking is usually great as well.
