I like Popeyes chicken. The problem with the Popeyes on Telge is they do not honor the Popeyes advertised pricing. I went for... the free chicken sandwich with purchase of a chicken sandwich combo. I was told, No, we don't have that deal here. They have aPopeyes Rewards decal in their window. However, they do not honor the Popeyes Reward program either. So, if you are on thereward program or you are wanting Popeyes advertised deals--GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION! ! I did go on line to order and it showednot available at this restaurant. I was in their parking lot when I realized they did not support the Popeyes advertising. Iwill say the restaurant is clean and food is good. Employees were professional and nice. Being from Louisiana I've tasted great chicken from many locations. I was very disappointed with the food from this location.... Shrimp was salty and chicken just lacked the "Popeyes" chicken flavor. Will not be returning. Just gonna stick with thelocations I usually go to. Read more

Went Sunday to grab a quick bite to eat around noon. Ordered a 2pc meal. After waiting for a longer than normal time (I... thought maybe they were making more and it would be fresh), I was given my food , with no excuse for the wait. Went home toeat, and instead of hot, fresh food, the chicken I got was almost inedible. It was overcooked, a strange reddish color on oneside, and so dry I ended up throwing it out after 2-3 bites. I tried calling to talk to the manager, and whoever answered thephone answered it with ?Hello?. I asked if this was Popeyes, and they said ?Ugh, yeah?. I really wasn?t sure that it really wasPopeyes, so I thanked them and hung up. I haven?t had a chance to go by in person, but will definitely have 2nd thoughts beforeeating there again. Read more
30 f&@$ing minutes for a 5 piece tender meal. How does a 5 piece tender meal take 30 minutes? When they don?t even bring what... you ordered! How does a piece of unbreaded fish and a side of red beans and rice look even remotely close to 5 breaded chickentenders with a side of fries?! This is a relatively new Popeyes store in the Cypress area & personally, it was a welcome addition since the other Popeyes store... on Spring Cypress (just 3 miles away) had rude staff who consistently got my orders wrong. This store has friendlier staff, butfor whatever reasons, some of the deals being offered on the Popeyes rewards app are not available in this store. They also gotmy recent pick-up order wrong (ordered the original chicken sandwich & got the blackened chicken sandwich instead). But I willstill prefer this store over the older store on Spring Cypress. Read more
