Excellent diner for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I regularly get the Ribeye Steak and Eggs, whuch is an outstanding item at a... good price. Attentive waitstaff despite hiring shortages, very clean and well kept venue. Highly recommended. Read more
Very small House of Pies location with tiny tables and hardly enough room for drinks with a complete table of plates. There may... be a wait every time we come due to the limited number of tables, we waited 15 minutes for a table which isn't bad. Hopefullythey will had on an outdoor patio with seating. Woodlands location is the beggest we have been to, and we have never had towait. Service was GREAT. Waitress was always checking in with us, and continued to refill drinks. Bayou Goo Pie was delicious, and will get again the next time we come. Read more
Honestly, not a bad experience overall. The pies were fantastic, the service was fairly quick (especially considering how many... people were there to eat). But I will echo what some of the other reviews have mentioned; our experience with the staff wasfairly flat and not super inviting. It did seem like everyone working there was having a stressful night and it definitelyaffected the experience. Though, that might say more about the owners and managers than it does about the averageemployee. Overall, I?d definitely come back. The food is easily worth it! Read more
This was the first time coming to House of Pies. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. There were people waiting to be seated... when we arrived. Our server, Elizabeth, was very courteous and helpful when ordering. She brought us water to begin with andthen proceeded to ask what we wanted to drink. I ordered fresh orange juice. We also ordered a cup of coffee, and a Dr. Pepper. After she brought our drinks, we decided to order. I ordered the Acapulco egg omelet. It has taco meat, onions, mushrooms, peppers, chives, cheddar and jack cheese. Served with your choice of fruit, potatoes, or any side, and bread. We also orderedthe Huevos Rancheros. Flour tortilla served with scrambled eggs, picante, cheddar and jack cheese, with frijoles, and extraflour tortillas on the side. My brother ordered Chicken fried steak. Deep cutlet deep fried and topped with country gravy. It isserved with your choice of soup or salad, vegetable and one fruit, potato, or side dish. He also ordered a couple of biscuitsto go with his gravy. Lastly, we ordered a Belgian waffle and a Texas Pecan pie. Overall, the food was fresh and delicious. MayI suggest that the biscuits be covered with a napkin in a basket, that way they will keep warm. Also, I observed the serverswere very busy and I wasn't able to stop any at the time to ask for napkins. Maybe having a napkin holder at each table willbenefit their service. I also want to mention, that when I ordered my waffle, I didn't have any syrup at the table. Having theseitems available at the tables will really benefit the servers, especially when it's really busy. The Pie was Phenomenal!! Weloved it!! Baked to perfection!! I just want to say thank you for the great service and keep it up! We will definitely be backto try other delicious items on the menu!???????????????? Read more

My wife and myself are visiting this restaurant having never eaten here before. Overall the experiences are pretty good. The... white Christmas was very friendly. We ordered the slice of pie and it tasted fantastic. The food left a little bit to bedesired. She ordered a BLT sandwich and I ordered the chicken pot pie. Both of us for the food weren't as great. We canbasically do a better job at home. The total came to be $32 which was a little bit on the high side. It was like the food wasn'tcooked thoroughly. It was Luke warm when it arrived on our table. Basically I ordered a pie any day but won't eat at the samerestaurant. Read more
