What a wonderful place for great new England food. The crab cakes melt in your mouth, the meat sauce pasta was great, and the... eggplant fluorintine was decadent with grilled veggies. Went there this Saturday evening. This place is a hidden gem! The side salad had sugar coated pecans, dried cranberries, shaved... carrots (yes, shaved carrots), petite diced tomatoes with just the right amount of purple onion and a delicious dressing. Thebest side salad I’ve ever had!! I had the salmon which had really great flavor with grilled vegetables. My whole table wasvery pleased, even my parents in from San Antonio were impressed. We came to whatever Italian restaurant was here three years ago. And it was great then. If it was the same place they really... went downhill. Good wasn't that great and portion sizes were very small. Food wasn't horrible but not "the best" or even closeto it. Way too expensive for what you get. Guess I'll have to drive all the way to Jersey village for the real, best Italianfood around. Read more
BEST ITALIAN FOOD EVER! I seriously have no idea how this place isn’t famous yet! We haven’t had anything on the menu we... didn’t like, and the ingredients are so fresh and compliment everything. The staff recognized us by our second visit and whichmade the whole experience very personable and welcoming. My husband and I eat out regularly so I feel we are well qualified to give an honest comparison of this restaurant as it relates... to others. All guest are greeted and made to feel like they are family as opposed to guest. The waitstaff is extremelyattentive and well educated on the menu. And the chef . . . wow . . . the food is absolutely top of the line "Chef Ramsey'worthy! They have an areas for small or large meetings, which we have used. One time I had just flew in from a business tripand called them to see what time they closed. There was no way I could make it before closing but they insisted I come and geta good meal and STAYED opened after hours for my husband and I. Who does that? Apparently Azul Italian Kitchen does!
