Thought we could just walk in and be seated, we were wrong. They are so busy they told us it was going to be 80 minutes. We... heard from everyone we asked waiting to get in say, "its totally worth the wait". Our group was hesitant, but ultimately decidedto wait. I got the Double D Bison Burger and oh my gosh was it scrumptious! It honestly was the best burger anyone in our groupof 7 adults have had. I can tell you, next time we are out here we will be back and it will be more then once. Also, the staffwas absolutely fantastic. Super friendly and very attentive. We really enjoyed our burgers from here. The wait for a table was long but we were happily served some take out. It did not... disappoint. The menu is creative and leaves you wanting to visit again to try some of the other choices! I opted for the HotGranny with bison. It was very tasty but also a messy burger. Don't try to eat this on the road, it requires your fullattention! We also enjoyed the cheese curds. Service was fast and friendly. While certainly a great burger joint, I don't knowthat I'd go as far to say they have the best burgers in the country, as they've been crowned by Trip Advisor. 100% the best burger in the world. On a trip to see the Black Hills and Badlands, we stopped at this little place with ratings... bigger than the sky above. Honestly I thought it was just hype. How could the best burgers in the US be in such a remoteplace? No idea but I was way off. These burger are far above anything I have ever had. Not just in the US but world wide. Iknow the fresh meat is a big plus but the flavor cannot be matched. I will honestly drive from Denver for a burger here. Ilive in South Carolina and nothing here is even close. Read more
Been looking for a TRULY GREAT burger since we moved to the Black Hills ten years ago and finally found it at Burger and Bun!... Everything we ordered was delicious and had layers of flavor. The Hot Mama was my favorite! The gluten free bun was amazing! The cream cheese gave it a sweet savory juicy taste with the... jalapeños kicking in just slightly for spice. Best dang burger in South Dakota. Oh and the fries, both sweet potato and regularwere perfect! Read more
