The saying goes too many cooks in the kitchen; this place has too many kids in the kitchen. Seven people back there, four of... which were playing around, dangling a pair of white beats head phones over the cook line, on their iPhones, bumping into eachother, not cooking or doing anything just hanging out. Made absolutely zero sense. This is troubling to someone who is sittingin clear view of the kitchen, waiting for their takeout order. It should also be concerning to the owner of this establishment,who is paying these people to play around. You can run that kitchen with 3 cooks. I ordered a custom calzone, I asked formozzarella cheese, pizza sauce and pineapple, attached is the mess I received. My calzone was soaking wet likely from themassive amount of pineapple and the raw tomato that I most definitely did not ask for. I brought it home, moved it to a dish andhad to drain it; it literally had a river flowing from its back end, which had broken through the crust to make the entire basesoggy. We also ordered the children's pasta and meatballs and the chicken parm sandwich. Which were both sub par. The sandwichwas not very reminiscent of chicken parmigiana at all; it was dry and thick. We?re new to the area and trying lots of local places. We were very excited to try Marie?s but it was more ok than great. We did... the lunch specials (club / house salad and chicken parm / Caesar).. my club was pretty good but my husband said the chicken parmwas just ok. The sun bread was yummy but surprisingly small.. but maybe just because it was a lunch special? Overall not bad andaffordable. Read more
I used to love coming here?.but lately have been a bit disappointed with quality and portion- specifically with the meats. Marie's is truly incredible! Out table had the meatball sandwich, chicken parm sandwich, and pizza. All highly recommended. No... visit is complete unless you have the lemon blueberry cake! The new dessert cafe is fantastic! Read more

The service was terrible. My ?hot? roast beef sandwich came with the meat cold, the bun, not toasted. The young employees seem... to be more interested in talking to each other than doing their job properly, in a timely manner. Think they need to hire someadults, or at the least provide more adult supervision. Read more
