Happy Family is a good place for the family for dependable Chinese dishes. The service is always friendly, and the food is... predictably good. I've never had a disappointing meal here with the family. It's mostly your standard Chinese food dishes inthe US. I really like the spicy mei fun, but it is a carb and salt bomb. First time eating here... I am always skeptical of Chinese restaurants for reasons exactly like this... the good - food came... earlier than expected and arrived hot. The bad - we ordered sesame chicken with fried rice ($1.50 up charge for the fried rice).The fried rice was white rice with a brown sauce, no veggies or egg (I could have added sauce to white rice for free courtesy ofwhat I already had in my fridge). A few bad pieces of tough and super dry chicken were spit out from that dish. I ordered thespicy Kung Pao chicken. The sauce did not taste like Kung Pao, more like a teriyaki with some spice added. It was 70% vegetablesand sauce though when ordering online the veggies included are not all listed (I only wanted onion) so you could not modifycorrectly. Really great service. I order delivery a lot as well as eat in house. Everything is as it should be. They package the food to-go... very well and make sure things that shouldn't be soggy from sauce are packaged separately. Highly recommend as your localchinese spot. Read more

My family and I like going here. I usually get sushi, which has been very fresh tasting and quick to make. My spouse usually... gets general tso's and I'll have a few bites. It's got a great great to it while also getting very flavorful. It also has one ofthe best hot and sour soups. Read more

My family and I use to come here all the time for good Chinese so we are familiar with the items. TONIGHT IS OUR LAST NIGHT. ... Take a guess what the first picture is. Why in the world would they take chicken and place it on top of the egg fu young? Wethought we had the wrong order. Have you ever seen in your life seen this? No you haven?t! This is just being pure lazy insteadof cooking it in the egg fu young like normal and providing the gravy on the side. Take a look at the orange chicken. What inthe Publix grocery store is this? It literally taste like a frozen patty from the freezer section of a grocery store. Even thegeneral Tso chicken doesn?t taste as fresh as normal. My wife thought maybe it was a Friday night thing, until I reminded herthis was our go to spot for Friday night Chinese while watching our Disney Plus Marvel Shows (Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, etc) This ruined my whole night.
