2 years later and it's still so good. Drool from the smell of mojo sauce good. Wish you came earlier for the spinach and cheese... empanadas good. Yua fries perfectly crispy outside and fluffy and soft inside good. Tostones melting in your mouth good. Pulledchicken and Shrimp Scampi in that amazing sauce good. So good, you are willing to wait patiently for a table good. Cuban yes.Vegetarian options, yes. Pescetarian options, yes. Amazing, yes. Stop it, just go and try it. What a pleasant surprise. An unassuming location and storefront with big flavor and great service. It's hard to find good Cuban... style food but this place nails it. The in-house mojo is delicious. Definitely on our revisit list. Read more
Went here for a week night dinner. It's a nice hommy restaurant n the food tasted like a good home cooked food and prompt... service. We tried the 2 fish fillet, the coco special sautéed chicken n d coconut flan n all of them tasted pretty good. Theonly things that was not that great was the tostones that came with fish. We got the tostones with chicken, steak with chimichurri sauce, flan, tres leches, cheese pastry, and a latte. Everything was... delicious, came out in good time, and our server was great. Our first time here and we would love to recommend this local authentic Cuban restaurant to everyone. Great food with good... customer service. The portion of the food is generous comparing to the price. The taste is awesome! It is DELICIOUS! Our serverwas so nice and fast! The price is affordable. We definitely will come back. Had the shrimp scampi and the pork sandwich, along with the plantains and the sausage. The pork sandwich had a lot of cheese and... was okay. The shrimp scampi was excellent, the garlic butter sauce in it very flavorful. The sausage and fries are really good.They make everything fresh so be prepared for a little wait. The setting is pretty casual, think stools in some cases. Don'tmiss the desserts, the gauva pastry and tres leches are yummy. Read more
My wife and I, along with another couple, are going to try a new restaurant every month. Tonight we went to Coco's Cuban... Restaurant. We all like Cuban food so we were looking forward to our meal. We ordered Tostones topped with chicken and toppedwith pork as appetizers. They came out hot and both meats were juicy and flavorful. My meal came with a green salad. Romainelettuce, onions, tomatoes with a tropical vinaigrette. The lettuce was crisp and the dressing was perfect. All our dinnerscame with black beans and rice (white or yellow). My wife got Fried Pork Chunks.i had the Fish Filets. Our friends got ShreddedBeef in a tomato sauce and Steak with chimichurri sauce. We all had a taste of each others meal. Every entree' was delicious andhot. The black beans and rice (we all got yellow rice) were perfect sides to our meals. Don't be in a hurry if you are going toeat there. I don't think anything is prepared in advanced. Everything was freshly prepared and came out of the kitchen together.The Chef knows what he is doing. It's worth the wait. Our server was friendly and attentive. They don't have wine or beer. Iwould have enjoyed having a beer with my meal. But that is minor given how delicious our meals were. Read more
