Best ribs! We tried a bunch of different things and everything was great. The ribs are star of the show though. I never went to... a BBQ restaurant where the waitress recommended not putting any sauce on the ribs. But she was right...there is no need forsauce. Honesty the best ribs I have had and no sauce necessary. Pulled pork, wings and brisket were all very good too. For sidesI highly recommend the beans. Service was also great. Can't wait to go back! Adequate bbq. Got the pulled chicken and it was okay, certainly tasted better than it looked. I guess cornbread used to be... included now it?s $1 extra & the size of a Boston Market cornbread but it was very tasty. I love coke slaw but didn?t care fortheirs, it was watery & vinegary and salty. Got the macaroni salad and liked it but nothing notable. Our waitress Brittany wassweet and nice. Read more

We stopped in the Cumberland Gotta Q location and I was really impressed. To begin at the beginning, as you are walking towards... the door, you are greeted by the smell of BBQ - that delicious aroma of meats being smoked instantly gets your tastebudsexcited. Inside, the decor and atmosphere is what you would expect from a BBQ place in New England - kind of a country/Southernvibe. Comfortable seats (though I would like more padding in the booths, but that is a personal preference), music at anappropriate volume so that it isn't distracting but is also doing its job of creating a mood, and a friendly waitstaff combineto provide a positive start to the dining experience. I decided on the Duo meat meal - 2 meats, 2 sides, and a piece ofcornbread. I chose the pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket chili, and potato salad. I also opted for a piece of pecan pie fordessert. The potato salad was not bad. I would have liked a slightly more complex flavor, but it was servicable. While theworst aspect of my meal, it was still an average to above average potato salad. The pulled pork was well prepared. I got somecharred bits and overall it was very tender and flavorful. It didn't need sauce, which is the sign of good BBQ - sauce shouldalways be the condiment that enhances it, not the one that provides the flavor and hides poor preparation. The pulled chickencomes lightly pre-sauced, which I assume is to keep it from drying out. It was moist and delicious. Again, nothing needed to beadded to it to make it palatable or edible. It was tasty all on its own. Which brings is to the sauces. On the table, you willfind 4 sauces. A vinegar based sauce, a mustard based sauce, a sweet hickory sauce, and the house blend sauce. While each saucecompliments each meat differently, the mustard sauce added the most to what was on my plate. I didn't use a ton of sauce, butthe sauces added nice variety to the flavor party that was going on in my mouth. Lastly, there was the briske Read more

My friend and I both got pulled chicken. She got bbq pit beans and chicken salad. I got potato and Caesar salad. Everything is... fresh and delicious right down to the unsweetened tea. They need a place like this back home in NJ/PA. I?d give 8 stars if Icould. Read more

I ordered a small meal that came with 2 sides and cornbread. I picked pulled pork, coleslaw, and the plain skillet mac & cheese.... The pulled pork was incredible. It was super tender and the BBQ sauce on the side. My 8 month old was gobbling it up. Thecornbread was very dry but I dunked it in all the extra mayo from the coleslaw. I didn't like the crumble on top of the mac &cheese but it was good. The last time we visited this location for take out, 2020, the food was terrible and we said we wouldnever be back. I'm glad I gave it another chance. Read more

First visit on Tuesday 1/25 at 5:00 pm with party of 3. GottaQ greatly exceeded my expectations overall ! Great BBQ very... pleased and will definitely return. Now for the details. Ordered the BBQ chicken dip w/ tortilla chips for an app. Wellprepared and presented. The smoked BBQ chicken had a sweet smoky flavor profile that not only complimented the heat but blendedwell with the cheesy ranch flavors and also added a nice texture. It was delicious ! For an entree I went with meat duo. Acombination of 2 meats and 2 sides w/ cornbread. My selections were the ribs, brisket, collard greens and mac n cheese. Therewere some highlights and lowlights at this point. The meats were outstanding and very well executed. Ribs were very tender andmoist. Both rub and smoke were present but just enough to allow the pork flavor to come through as well. Very well balancedindeed. I give the ribs a 9 out of 10. As for the brisket, very well executed as well. I like my brisket with a salt and pepperrub only and I venture to say this was the case here. Great beefy flavor with smoke present. Again, very well balanced.Moistness and tenderness just rocked !! Very impressed ! My only criticism is that the brisket had a very slight "pot roasty"quality to it which can happen when holding it for some time after it comes off the smoker. I give the brisket an 8.5 out of 10just for this reason. Now comes the lowlights...the sides. Starting with the collards these were actually decent. Verytender, good flavor although quite salty. 7 out of 10 on the collards. The mac and cheese was horrible. The macaroni had beenso overcooked it made the side very pasty like glue. It made me wonder how this item could have left the kitchen for service.Did they even try it ?! Same with the cornbread. It was very dry and flavorless making it inedible. Some other sides at mytable were the cole slaw and potato salad. These seemed to be more of a store bought product. 1 out of 10 on these si Read more
