Reservations are recommended. The filet was wonderful, the brie appetizer was not as good. The bread used in the appetizer was... burned on one side and diminished the flavor of the dish. Wow! Top notch cuisine! Seriously, from the shrimp and baked brie appetizers to the peach cobbler dessert, this place was... outstanding. My filet mignon wrapped in bacon was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked; I haven?t had better in NYC. Mywife?s lemon-thyme chicken and my daughter?s grilled salmon were also excellent. Beautiful little restaurant and bar. I really liked walked down the street it was in. Lots of old buildings to look at. The... staff were all friendly and efficient. Everything that was ordered was amazing. The maple bourbon pork chop that I ate was thebest pork chop I?ve ever had! Seriously! Absolutely without a doubt this place has the friendliest staff I've ever met! Quaint little restaurant pub. From the second you... step into the restaurant until the second you leave the staff is very attentive. We never had to ask for anything. The food isabsolutely delicious. You receive large portions that are expertly prepared and reasonable priced. We had appetizers, entreesand dessert. The hardest decision was what to get as everything that came out if the kitchen looked so good. We sat in the bararea as we liked that atmosphere the most. The upstairs boasted candle lit tables with linen tablecloths. Most customers didhave reservations. We did not; but, we were not turned away. We were equally welcomed.
