SARA the Wine Bar is a classy and lovely little Italian-themed establishment on Sepulveda in Culver City which also has a few... gluten-free options for persons living with that food need. We were staying next door in order to attend a National Conferenceat the Pauline Media Bookstore. We needed a restauraunt within walking distance and I was glad to find SARA next door to ourhotel. In addition to a number of salads, other gluten-free options at SARA the Wine Bar include: Eggplant Parmigiana and, fordessert, Pannacotta (strawberry or caramello). Our server was able to help make safe and tasty gluten-free food choices fromthe SARA menu. For those who do not need to eat gluten-free, SARA offers a number of luscious pastas and scrumptious dessertson its menu. Highly recommended. Read more

We arrived just as Maryanne (sorry if I spelled it wrong) opened at 5 this past Sunday. We shared salad, a Bolognese dish and... the best Cacio de pepe I've had. We drank reasonably priced wine and soaked in the wonderful ambience. This is really finedining. Thank you Sara and crew!! We will be back. Read more

This place is great for dates! My boyfriend and I went on a Friday night with a reservation and the service was very good. We... didn?t have to wait too long for anything despite it being quite busy. Their wine is excellent and they have a real menu, notjust tapas or appetizers (which is what I was expecting). The meatballs were excellent and the pasta we had was well prepared. Read more

Went here for dinner and had some small plates with salad and it was amazing. The wine was great, too, which was no surprise.

Sara The Wine Bar & Restaurant has been sitting quietly on Sepulveda Blvd for many years going back to when Culver City was a... good place to get a smog check but fine dining, no way! I found myself working nearby and went for lunch one day. One of thebest salads ever. Four years later and I know the owner and the staff. Now that they're open for dining inside again, my wifeand I went for dinner recently and now that Google nudges me to write a review everywhere I go, I had to write about one of myfavorite restaurants. The food is special as it tastes homemade with its own special qualities. Their salads are A+++. If youorder a pasta with any of their sauces, ask for bread because you'll want to wipe the bowl clean. Best of all is the prices arebetter than reasonable. The wine selection is very good and again, prices are moderate. Go, eat, drink, and enjoy. Read more

I come here all the time. Love the service and the food is very authentic. Now they have Brunch on the weekends! Which is... awesome. They have mimosa specials, lattes and avocado toast with poached eggs. I'll definitely be coming back for more! Read more

Liked this place a lot for a quick bite or a winetastic night. Food is reasonably priced, specially the pasta dishes or the... pizza. Underwhelming charcuterie and cheese plate. Usually busy on weekends, reservations accepted. Limited parking in the area. Read more
