This is a restaurant worth driving one hour just to have dinner there. Amazing authentic food. Small, get a reservation.... Unpretentious, so it may look a simple bite, but it?s not at all. Amazing Peruvian flavor every dish. Read more

A small bakery converted into a restaurant with outdoor eating that serves Peruvian recipes from the heart. The eating area is... extremely limited and does get packed. I would recommend calling ahead for reservations. If you come with hopes of consumingalcohol-you won't find a Pisco Sour or a sip of alcohol on the menu here so BYOB -it's allowed. It was a great find to comeacross something like this in West LA. The menu consists of your average Peruvian cuisine found in The USA. From Lomo Saltado(one of the best I've tried) to Ceviche (they forgot to bring my order so I didn't get to try) and all the good stuff betweenwith an average price of $20. The grilled Spanish Octopus had great presentation but I wouldn't order again. The Swai tiraditopieces were extremely small, but once again the presentation was amazing. Im not a fan of the swai and believe they shouldswitch back to kampachi. The lobster causa was also very good. As I said, the place gets extremely crowded at dinner time and Ido not feel that my table received the proper attention. Some of the order was forgotten and every time that I needed something,I had to personally flag down our waitress. I do not blame her as she was hustling between the tables and in and out of thekitchen like crazy. My advice to management would get someone to help her. My table wanted to and would have ordered much morefood if we hadn't waited 20 minutes to be checked up on. Some of my party left hungry because we no longer had time to wait. Read more

Pretty great Peruvian food here at Lonzo's, especially the plating on the ceviche! The Poor Man's steak was wonderful and... tender. The ceviche was also pretty good. The flavor for the Osso Buco Seco was ok and could be more tender if they cooked itlonger. Read more
