Revision to my review now that I've looked at my receipt. My charges included a 3% service charge. That was before I added a... generous tip. I see more restaurants doing this, and I am thoroughly annoyed and offended. I'm out for a good meal with goodcompany. If I want bogus fees tacked on, I'll spend time instead with my mobile phone provider or my cable company. The foodand atmosphere were great, and the service was very good. We enjoyed a few cocktails and a bunch of small plates. Everything wasquite unique and tasty. It was Happy Hour, which took a little bit off the bite out of the price, but we were still at a littleover $120 for two. Not sure whether we'll go back. The service charge thing ticks me off. Just tell me the true price. Read more

Very slow service and food was not good. My party had 4 people and after waiting for over an hour for our food, we asked our... server for an update and they said they would check with the kitchen. They came back and said the kitchen was trying to bringall the food out at once. But we ordered appetizers, why would they come out at the same time as entrees? We asked them to justbring out food out as soon as they were done. When my crab fried rice finally came out, it was a shrimp fried rice and there wasno crab in it. The server said they would get that fixed and after 10+ minutes, the manager came to our table and said the chefsaid there wasn't any crab that was good enough to serve, so they made a shrimp fried rice instead. I've had restaurants nothave enough ingredients for what I've ordered before and that is fine, I just ordered something else. This is the first timethat no communication was made to me until the food was brought out. My order was taken off the bill, and they offered usdessert for free, but we declined as we just wanted to leave. Read more

In 1 word: inept. Service is horrible. So much so that it overtakes the good food. Not worth the trouble.

Our hostess Mina was super welcoming and accommodating. We started off with the yuzu ginger edamame, and finished with the... spectacular California roll. From start to finish every bite was amazing and the atmosphere and music were great. Read more

Edit - came back and our service was horrible. Service both other visits were very slow, but tonight was even worse and our... server was barely there. Our food took over an hour to completely come and it took our server that amount of time to realize it.No comp on our bill, and there was a mistake on our check. Food is good but not worth this poor ofservice. —————————————————————————— Honestly FIN has made its way to oneof our favorite LA spots in just two visits. The food is amazing and servers are so nice! Forgot to take photos so only got thisone, but the truffle avocado crispy rice is amazing! The happy hour specials are so good - will definitely be back soon! Read more

Although I throughly enjoy this spot, I must give critical feedback because I would like to return again. The benches in the... back were falling apart, bathroom was dirty and the food is a bit overpriced. Best to come at happy hour imo. Tuna JalapeñoCrispy Rice, Blue Crab Handroll, Spicy Yellowtail Baby Handroll are recommended. Japanese margarita is a great drinktoo. Update : the outdoor patio gives this place a great touch, crab hand rolls were great. Read more

Happy Hour everyday from 5 pm to 6:33 pm! Definitely a quick one, but worth making to get some small plates that are good for... sharing. I went here with some friends and enjoyed the dishes, vibe, and service. It can get pretty busy so definitely know whatyou want ahead of time! My favorite out of the selections that we got have to be: Baked Crab Roll, Red Gyoza, Shrimp GarlicGyoza, and the Tuna Jalapeño Crispy Rice! Those were definitely crowd pleasers and really tasty. For the skewers, the chickenis definitely more tasty and filling option. The handrolls are good too, but meant for one person. Another highlight are thecocktails! They have some of the clearest ice that I have seen and it makes the drink experience all the more fancy. They alsojust recently opened up their speakeasy in the back. Our bartender Adam was great as well and super friendly! The Sazerac is amust here! The Japanese Old Fashioned is prime too!! Read more
