This is by far the best Pakistani restaurant I?ve ever been to in the US - and I?ve tried many. The Chicken Karahi, the Seekh... Kebabs and the Garlic Naans are to die for. The service is also great. Would recommend any time any day. Read more

To all of those who have rated this amazing restaurant anything less than 4 stars- have your tastebuds checked out ASAP, because... you clearly have no taste for the DELICIOUS food offered at Chargha House. We\'ve followed these gentlemen since they wereemployees at Bilal Restaurant years ago. They opened up their own restaurant and we\'re glad they did.The food is fresh, flavorful, and beyond appetizing. The service is great and they\'re beyond friendly and accommodating. You can choose your spicelevel for those who can\'t handle any heat. We drive from San Diego at least 2 times per month just to eat here. We also takeplenty of food back home. That\'s how much we love the authentic food. No, we are not paid to type this nor do we benefit inanyway from this review. For all those with negative reviews and comments- have some decency to not try to damage thereputation or livelihood of good people. Perhaps it\'s other businesses leaving bad reviews. Karma. I wish the food was as good as the fake pictures they post. The chicken tikka kabab is an absolute disaster with an infinite... amount of red color on top of boiled chicken. No flavour whatsoever. The chicken curry and basmati rice tasted average at best. The naan was below average with a distinctive non-appetizing smell. Read more

Chargha House is a great restaurant. For the Americans remember Chargha House is a Pakistani Indian Restaurant and not a North... Indian restaurant like all the rest. Chargha House is like Szechuan (spicy as in spices) compared to North Indian Restaurantswhich would be Chinese Cantonese (bland). Go and try it for yourself, you will the food and the owner Ali Qumar. Read more

Used to have a very high opinion of this place from years ago. I ordered a Chicken & a Mutton Biryani today & what I received... was Rice with tasteless curry in the bottom. I am sorry but its a gross misrepresentation of Pakistani style Biryani Read more

My Pops has been eating here ever since Ali, the owner, was back at Manchester and the 405 (90\'s). Growing up it was always one... of my favorites when he\'d bring home something from here. Pretty nostalgic for me and it\'s as close to Pakistani cuisine youcan find.\n\nSo good, seriously, dont let the aesthetics trick you. Definitely try the lamb karahi, mixed grill is a must for 3or more ppl, and the qeema paratha is ????????. You can well feed 4 ppl with bomb Pakistani food for the price of getting a bigmac meal with a mcflurry.\n\nThey have special chicken biryani on the weekends too. Read more
