Reviews for Cafe Laurent in Culver City, CA
Excellent service and stellar food. A little on the pricier side, but they have such unique and well executed dishes, the place... is also very cute. Ordered Le Reya, which was delicious. My only complain was that the chicken was quite dry and rubbery, butall of the other components of the sandwich were amazing and made up for it. Huge portions as well. Comes with two sides, I gotsalad and potatoes au gratin. Potatoes were phenomenal, salad was just average. If I?m in the area again, I wouldn?t mind eatinghere once more at all! Read more
The pesto pasta was decent, but it should be for 20 bucks. 17 dollar Croissanwich was mediocre w that great chewy bacon you have... to spit out, and they tried to charge me 2 bucks for switching cheeses. Then we waited over ten minutes to get the check, all inal it?s that perfect LA experience that makes people love the city and change your life for the better to cook at home more ???? Read more
I got the crêpe parisienne with ham and a side salad. The crepes are packed with flavor and big enough for 2 adults and a child... to share. The coffee was just the right amount of caffeine to wake the dead without giving you the jitters. The service wasexcellent. My only regret was not sitting outside. I thought they only offered seating in front of the restaurant but there?s acovered patio in the back that makes for a perfect experience on warmer days. Highly recommend! Read more
Our trip to Café Laurent was excellent. I received a free mocha for my birthday, and service was prompt and attentive. The... food was delicious as always (I had a custom Sweet Crêpe, and even though the menu doesn't list caramel as an option for thecustom crêpes, they allowed me to choose it). All servers and cooks continue to wear masks, which gave me a lot of peace ofmind. Because of the torrential rain, the patio seating was closed, and we were stuck with indoor seating that was a littlecloser than I'd prefer. However, despite their indoor seating area not being very large, they seated us as far from others aswas possible with the crowd that came in. Nor did they attempt to rush us despite the aforementioned crowd. We ordered a to-gomeal in addition to dining in, and they had no problems accommodating two separate checks, and having the to-go meal ready justas we were prepared to leave. Read more
The First Time I tried Cafe Laurent is with my fellow office workers. So I enjoy the Chicken Salad on the day before Christmas.... I haven?t been there for about maybe 10 years. So I went there with my dad. And I tried The Pain Perdu French Toast which isreally good!! And yesterday I ate was the Eggs Benedict & I like it a lot!! So I recommend if you want to take either yourfamily or friends for a good lunch!! Read more
20 to 30 dollar brunch, close to LAX maybe 15 min away on a weekend. Good food. Seated quickly. Indoor and outdoor but better... lighting outside. Nice vibe. There was one all gender bathroom for the whole place which is inconvenient when line getslong. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. I got the fancy brunch for 19. It was filling and tasty. The potatogratin was delicious. Expect to pay 5 more for a mediocre coffee and 5 more for a croissant or pastry. Parking is on thestreet. Read more
Food is delicious. I got the croque madame and it was perfect. The potatoes au gratin are the star of the show though. They did... not disappoint. Read more
My partner and I have been coming here for four years. It is one of the most delicious well thought out menus in all of LA. I... always get the shrimp crepe which has huge shrimp. The chef and the owner know what they?re doing. The staff is alwaysextremely courteous and it is definitely one of my top three favorites in all of LA. Read more
