Food is good, but boy is that bbq expensive!!! Was $37 for a 2 meat combo, 2 side sides and a pudding for one person! Even had... a military discount. I live in Florida and I could buy enough food to feed my family of 4 for that price at my local bbqrestaurant with food just as good. Additionally, the food portion was seriously small. It looked like one piece of brisketand a few pieces of burnt ends. You don't see that where I'm from. Burnt ends are really good and so is the pudding. Read more

Will not be returning. The ribs were good, a bit dry, but flavorful. The "shredded" chicken sandwich was just drumstick meat... pulled off the bone and piled in a bun. The first order of chicken wings came with a fly and hair in it. Obviously was sent backand we received a fresh order, but the kitchen staff was not wearing hair nets or gloves. The "head" cook had long black hair ina pony tail, but not covered. Very unhygienic practice for a kitchen. The service was good although the new girl at theregister could not even give me the correct change. Overall, spent over $130 for mediocre BBQ with bugs and hair. Great BBQ!! The brisket was great, the ribs were perfect, and the chicken was amazing! Great cornbread! Get the Curbside Sampler... - you won?t go wrong. Plenty of reasons to check them out! The downsides? 1) price. It was steep. 2) no spoons. No idea. 3)feels like a startup that hasn?t found its stride: half the soda fountain heads were out of order, appeared to be only 1 personworking, the dinner rolls were stale. Overall, a great bbq! Never will I go there again. Food was nasty. The ribs was dry an the corn dogs was still raw in side an the potatoe salad had a... bad smell to it. An the service was not nice at all my first time there an the girl was like the menu up on the wall. Couldn?tanswer some of our questions. But the place was clean. Won?t go back again. Just had dinner at Shawn?s and will definitely come back. The salad was amazing and the fries were out of this world. I love the... Sassy sauce and their ranch. The only downside was the food didn?t come out together but that was only thing. The customerservice was impeccable! Read more

Very disappointed and will not go there again. Ordered take out online . selected pick 2 - lean brisket & pulled pork. When... husband brought it home , it looked like the brisket was missing, just a container of pulled pork. Called the restaurant andthey said the cook chopped up the brisket and mixed it with the pork. Why would you do that when there were not instructions todo so? I don?t like my meat mixed especially when it is 2 totally different types of meat - pork & beef. It does not come thatway when ordered in so why would I even think it would come this way for take out? Not worth the $18 I paid for it. Unfortunately this was a big miss. 8oz burnt ends was 4oz of fat. Green beans had an odd odor, and the catfish was rubbery. Kids... liked the wings. For $20/per person average, I expected better quality. Service was friendly and restaurant was clean. Read more

Needed a nice lunch after spending the day on the Skyline drive. Great service, great food. I had the basic pulled pork... sandwich. The sandwich and sauce was excellent. My wife had the Smokehouse salad and liked it very much. Portions were verylarge. Read more
