Food is first class. Service was very good, although one of the staff delivered the bill and credit card to the wrong table and... it took about 20 minutes before a nearby table asked if we had the wrong bill. Also, the great food means the place was packed, leading to much noise. Still, we will return again. Read more

Food was great, and staff was attentive to my large group. The kitchen cooked up a special non-menu meal for my vegan friends.... Man in a jacket (possibly the manager?) wandered around checking in on everyone. Read more

Lunch Al fresco in side alley is a comfortable treat on an otherwise busy day with a friend. I recommend anything they serve in... a puff pastry! (The ham and Swiss is my favorite! (The beef and caramelized onions is the one I had most recently). Frenchcuisine in a little town; a delightful surprise! Read more

Smoked trout was delicious. My wife liked the swordfish. $44 filet ordered med rare was served beyond rare. When I pointed this... out, they took the steak back and returned the same steak medium to well done. Waiter was way more interested in the large partythan our table of two - acted like we were bothering him. I might give this place one more chance but would not recommend to afriend at this time... Lovely restaurant. Beautiful décor, kind and attentive waiters, and good food. I had a salad since there wasn?t anything else... vegan in the restaurant but they were very accommodating and made it extra delicious. They also offered me olive oil instead ofbutter for the bread. Very nice. Read more

Wonderful brunch - fantastic European-inspired menu and limited but completely sufficient wine menu to support the menu options.... Full bar also available. Service was impeccable despite a completely full house - the proprietor was welcoming and has a senseof humor that you will miss if you?re not careful lol. Was a perfect stop for brunch on our drive back from Charlottesville toDC Metro Read more

The food was excellent as normal. Please try the Thyme Tini. It's so good. My only complaint is the owner only greeted tables... with "older" patrons. I've been going there for years and have always noticed this. So don't be offended if he pays you noattention. The food and other service makes up for it 100 percent. Great staff!!!! Read more
