I've had good meals here in the past. Stopped in for restaurant week. Drinks were good, service slow. Not prepared for a full... house. Ordered the filet, zero salt or pepper. No seasonings by any means, not to mention the extra $15 you had to pay for thebeef while everything else is the same price on their menu for restaurant week. Disappointment for sure. Don't go for restaurantweek. Read more

We went to Flavor on Main as someone recommended it to us for dinner on the "nicer" side. Waitress was not very attentive.... Cocktail was not done the right way and was definitely watered down. Food was okay - nothing special that would make it thatnice. I could see the kitchen from my table and some staff (chef and other kitchen personnel) were cooking and eating withoutwashing their hands in between. I have never seen that before at a restaurant and it is not something that customers want tosee. Read more

Been to Flavor on Main in Culpeper half a dozen times in the past year, make a point of stopping by and enjoying the great... cocktails and food every time we pass through. Never had any troubles before! To my surprise this evening, we arrive and orderour food and drinks expecting the same. Drinks were great, app was great but began to notice that patrons who had arrived afterus were starting to get their food! No worries...until they started finishing their food and ordering desserts, paying theirbills. The waitress, who was great by the way, began to apologize for the wait. Food finally came, great flavor, if only alittle cool. Asked for the check and the chef/manager...who proceeded to make a scene and blame us for too high ofexpectations...that it takes 35 minutes to cook a steak. Most embarrassing experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Trulydisappointing considering the quality of food and service in the past. If you go, make sure that you don't expect to be treatedwith respect, I certainly don't and will not be returning. Read more

Wonderful restaurant with good food and cocktails. The art deco vibe really enhances the experience and was a nice place to... spend an evening with my wife. It is a little small and there were a couple of big parties that night so it can be a little loudbut was still quite enjoyable. Read more

Had a wonderful meal. Started with two of their special cocktails, Great Gadsby was especially nice. Had the fried green... tomatoes, was crispy and hot. Then had flank steak and brisket, both were very tasty and properly cooked. Finished with rhechocolate souffle, very rich. Service was excellent. Read more

We sit giggling. You would too after a delicious little cheese appetizer w blueberries, entrees that were scrumptious and... desserts to finalize our need for wheelchairs to push us to the door! Add beer and Irish coffee and the night is COMPLETE! Excellent food! Great service! Beautiful atmosphere! Lovely evening with a fabulous hubby who, while looking like Grisly Adams,is trying hard not to wear the whipped cream and crème de minth from his Irish coffee. Thank you, hubby, for another fabulousmemorable dinner with YOU! Read more

Wonderful food experience. Our dishes were presented and were a delicious as they were beautiful. Our table had the braised... brisket, outstanding with a peppery salted back flavor that was on the front and back of your tasting The next was the pan searedsea bass, delicate and smooth. And then the chicken with knochie. While very good it need another element to round the flavorprofile out. And finally a throw back "Southern Comfort". Brine aged chicken breasts fried with a extra crispy crust overtruffle blended potatos with roasted Brussel sprouts. The meal was outstanding and our accompanying drink were well thoughtout and created from the bar. Read more

Flavor on Main is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The wait staff is super friendly and so attentive. The head chef and crew are master... artists in the kitchen! The restaurant offers a 1920?s Prohibition Swanky Vibe, while remaining casual and inviting for all. Myhusband had an emergency work call and our waitress came over to ask if we would like to keep his plate warm, until his return. The appetizers were out of this world! Our family tried the: scallops and wild mushrooms, sesame tuna, and fried calamari. Ourprohibition specialty cocktails were fabulous too ? from the Jitterbug, Misbehavin? Flapper Girl, All that Jazz, to the GinRicky. Our main courses were also outstanding. In fact, this was one of the best meals we?ve had in a long time (maybe ever)! Weordered the: Southern Comfort Fried Chicken, Crab Stuffed Salmon, and Chicken Arianna with Gnocchi. Holy Guacamole ? we will beback!! I highly recommend this restaurant! Call and make a reservation? you will NOT be disappointed. Read more
