My family ordered online and picked up meals from Twisted Plants. We got there early and waited for a few minutes. The gentleman... working was so very kind and was very communicative with us. He even held the door for us on the way out. Very friendly! Asfor the space, it has an eclectic vibe. The environment looks more thrown together than thoughtfully planned out. Wall isplastered with movie posters. The meals were great! We had ordered the plant based burgers and a chicken sandwich. In additionwe tried the cookies and cream and strawberry shakes. Nothing on the menu suggested coconut ice cream, so the first sip wassurprising as I was expecting regular ice cream. If you're into coconut ice cream you'd probably enjoy the shakes. Read more
I have always been a fan of Twisted Plants. From Fond Du Lac Ave to Zocalo to Cudahy. I have always referred people to them for... their food. But today I drove from my home near Butler all the way to Cudahy as usual for Twisted Plants. I ordered at 5:50 pmand it gave an estimated time of 6:30 pm. I received the text that my order was ready for pickup at 6:30 pm. When I went in theywere moderately busy inside. They told me my order would be another 5 mins. Okay that's fine. Twenty-five minutes later, I gotmy food and drove home. The pictures are what I found when I got home. It was 7:30 by the time I got home and too late to driveback there. Things have changed and I hope they get back on track. I won't order from here for awhile. There is a lot I canaccept but paying extra for stuff on a burger that I don't get is beyond annoying. Having food that looks worse than what Icould have made at home is another. And having a hockey puck for a a patty is another. Read more
Vegan fast food in Milwaukee?! Um, yes please! I have not seen anything like this in the city, and it's refreshing to see more... vegan restaurants catering to comfort foods. I got the cauliflower bites and they are hands down the best that I've had ever,especially the lemon pepper and sweet chili. Super flavorful, really delicious breading and not soggy. My non-vegan dad lovedthem. The strawberry lemonade was amazing. I also got a peanut butter cookie bite that was delicious. Overall, just an amazingplace with good vibes, super friendly staff, and a huge menu. There's a lot I didn't get to try but I will be back to soon! Read more
I happen to stumble upon this when I was hungry and decided to go there with rather low expectations. But when I arrived there I... placed my order and found a seat. The staff was excellent and the atmosphere there is one of the most comfortable places I?veeaten at in a long time. Once I got my order I can?t say anything other than I was completely blown away by how delicious itwas. I went there expecting vegan food to be rather bland or basic but it was extremely flavorful. I even ordered a shake whichI have never had a shake that superb. Overall even if you?re not vegan or vegetarian I would say this is a must try place. Read more

Overall a pretty good place. The fried pickles were good but a bit over battered. The waffle fries and the pretzel buns were the... best part of the meal. The burger itself was ok but that's about it. The cheese on top was better than most vegan cheese I'vehad so thats a plus. Loved the environment and the staff was pretty awesome too.
