Love the decor and atmosphere here! Fantastic server, Chelsea! Had the BOGO drink special for Happy Hour. Early bird meals end... at 5:49 PM. Hubby had prime rib ..was a bit fatty. Chopped steak was tasty with plenty of sauteed onions. Delicious scallopappetizer. Unfortunately, ran out of Mahi Mahi main course early in the evening. The homemade rolls and cinnamon butter are verytasty. Also, there's a delicious endless salad bowl. We shared a delicious piece of carrot cake for dessert....three of usshared it and we still brought some home! Lots of great menu choices! Read more

Cool place excellent service. Huge portions so be ready to eat or maybe share. I had a huge shrimp salad bur changed protien... to grilled chicken. It was good, but more like the taste of a Ceasar's Salad with a few tomatoes and cucumbers. Good, but alot of lettuce. Read more

Absolutely disappointed! I usually rave about this place because of the amazing deal you can get on the bar menu. My family and... I decided to come and be seated at a table. I ordered the BBQ chicken breast, and paid for the upgraded side of sweet potatofries (keep in mind it?s the same price as an 8oz sirloin steak). I got a weak looking breast, and about 7 sweet potato wafflefries. Absolutely worthless. If this had been my first experience here, I would never return! The picture is exactly as my platewas when sat down in front of me. I spoke to the manager, and she was apologetic and brought out more sweet potato fries. Saw the truck out front and had to try this place after our Manatee swimming experience. I never even made it inside, since the... family chose a high top outside which was perfect for the day we visited. They had a surprisingly large menu selection andgenerous "happy hour" (aka early bird) deals and we were normal disappointed. Though it looked crowded inside there was plenty of parking. We didn't have to wait long to be seated, and I didn't see anyone... wait to be seated. Cody's has a wide selection of food so those in your party with differing taste can find something to eat.The salad that came with the meal was full of quarter cucumbers, cheese, some tomatoes, and a pepper. It comes in an extra largebowl. The rolls were sweet and come with cinnamon butter. My meal was coconut shrimp and sweet potatoes. It was delicious andthe best baked sweet potato I've had. You won't walk away hungry. A happening place we had a 20 minute wait @ 3:30. Fast friendly service. Food was hot & accurate.... The only thing I would change is the drink special was 2/1. The waitress brought out 4 drinks @ once. Not sure if they do itthat way or if it was her way. Sabre did a fantastic job with our large group. She is respectful, helpful, direct and attentive. Thank you! The things I... didn't enjoy... The smell of urine when walking in. The bathroom was terribly filthy and no TP in at least one stall. All the doors are disgusting. Floors...don't ask. But one of my friends forewarned the group because she almost slipped. I understandit's a bar; oh, I mean a steak house. ??? So, serve prime rib you are proud of the first time, and accept it back with gracewhen it can't be sliced thru with a steak knife. Provide a better slice the second time around... For some folks, it's a bigdeal to go out to eat. It's a celebration or an event, it's special. It's an experience. I see took for improvement... The food was amazing, this was my first time going there because it's my birthday and I don't regret it, I got the fajitas and... oh my gaaawwwwd they were yummy. The cheese logs were massive but delicious and the salad was pretty good too. My wife loved hersteak even though it was a little wrong but that's fine.
