Great food, good service, love the atmosphere. Only negative is that they added a credit card surcharge to the bill that they... never disclosed. Read more

Decent place for a good meal, the bun for the burgers isn't my favorite, too dry and I think they're potato too. My wife's baked... potato was under the heat lamp a bit too long, tough skin! Read more

I drive between Tallahassee area and Tampa every few months. I really like stopping in Crystal River for food and stretch break... and some shopping. Good BBQ food. Staff is extremely friendly and nice running around and doing a lot so it was a bit of waitbut not bad I went with my 2 Aunties I had the Bessie's Best Sandwich: Texas Brisket, Melted Cheddar and Texas Sausage. It wasyummy. I really liked the sausage it had I little kick to it but not too hot. The brisket was ok definitely need BBQ sauce. Theyhave lots of sauces to choose from my favorite is Mississippi Mud sauce which is sweet with molasses. I tried the honey andsmoky which they where nice (sorry I don?t remember the cute names). The bread is grilled which I just love. I had a side wafflecut sweet potato fries that were good. (Waffle cut is one my favorite type of fries. My Aunties both had unlimited salad bar.Which looked really good. Nice fresh veggies also had fixings for taco salad with taco meat and tortilla chips. It has wideselection of dressings made in house. My Aunties really enjoyed the salad bar. The decor is fun country with funny signs andAmerican flags. Plays country music. Nice clean bathroom. Good place to stop. Food came super quickly. Have outdoor seating.Have tables for larger groups. Nice spot. Will most likely stop again when driving through. Read more

Pulled pork excellant but very pricey. 8.99 for JUST the sandwich & it was on a normal Hamburg bun size bun. The BBQ sauce was... thin & runny but had a good flavor. Additional 6.99 to add salad bar again pricey Ayce salad bar was good but no potato salad,no macaroni salad or coleslaw and was 12.99. Broccoli salad was dry, chicken salad was good as was the tuna salad. Themeatballs were good, the nachos were ok and the fruit was good. Not sure we'd go again ONLY because it was a bit pricey andportions are small at that cost. Read more

Excellent service with Erika at the bar. So attentive. Happy Hour Beverages, $3 hose wines, beers, & well drinks. Great... barbecues plates with sides. I had pulled pork with Fried okra & Mac n cheese. My husband had St Louis style ribs with collardgreens & tater salad. Excellent assortment of sauces. So reasonable. Owner even asked how our service was outside. Great funplace... We will be back. Read more

Place is a joke. Chicken was undercooked, my ?Fresh? sides included microwaveable Mac N Cheese and pre-packaged apple sauce.... They only had 3 servers that tried to be as attentive as possible but you could hear complaints all around. The sauces werenothing special at all. Not sure how this place has four stars or is even in business. DO NOT COME HERE. Waste of time andmoney. Read more

Positives: cutest little restaurant with a nice wraparound porch. Plenty of parking. Great atmosphere. Super nice staff with... friendly fast service. Negatives: the beef brisket looked like it had been cooked in a crock-pot. Awful texture awful colorawful taste. Zero seasonings. No smoke flavor or any kind of flavor that I could decipher. Truly the worst brisket I've evertasted. Read more

Tried 9 different sauces and I definitely have some favorites. Very quaint place with a rustic feel. Salad bar buffet, lots to... choose from. I myself had to go with the full rack of ribs. Meat fell right off the bone and had some mad flavor. Read more
