I would give this location 1 star but I?ll give it 2 because I like subway. Arlene (im assuming the manager because she is there... every time I go) is extremely rude. Subway in CrystaLake on Route 14 is our favorite Subway location . I always ask to put on extra veggies. I get a 12" sub and... took picture of the second half. It's so fresh and they are generous with their veggies. Through the app we get points. Todaywe got two footlong and also got couple $ off and were able to combine it with their promo. We have been going to them for a fewyears and switched from another town that they are not as generous with their toppings. Great job on being prompt andfollowing our special requests! We typically get good service and value at this location. Our most recent visit was no exception. While some other area... locations often skimp on the veggies, this one does not. It's not overloaded, but an expectedly appropriate amount. It is cleanand the staff are friendly and efficient. This is a go-to location for our family. Read more
I stopped by this Subway while running customer errands, and I was impressed. This subway is larger than usual, clean, and in a... great location. I ate in the facility. This was the first time my Sandwich was prepared and placed in a basket! No paperunwrapping.. I've never seen this before. The attendant mentioned that all Subway restaurants should do this. They don't. Thefood was Subway good. The staff was courteous and smiled. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended. Read more
I've been eating at this subway since I've lived in Crystal Lake, and I've ALWAYS been pleased by their food and service. Do... keep in mind this is a SUBWAY restaurant, where EVERY SANDWICH is made to order, so if you are in a hurry, it might not be agood place to visit. But there is plenty of seating, a good staff, and basically Subway sandwiches are as good as you are interms of putting together a sandwich YOU want to eat. I've never had a bad meal here, and I will often stop and pick-up asandwich to bring with me to eat at work. Highly recommended. Read more
I've been going to this Subway for years, and have not had problems in the past. My rating would have been 4 stars or better in... the past. But when the sandwich artist, who I hadn't known from the past, coughs on my sandwich as she's making it, and also onthe open ingredient and condiment bar rather than attempting to turn her head away (and continuing to do it for the nextcustomer as I was leaving), it makes you wonder what other sanitary precautions she was ignoring. It didn't even seem as if shewas sick; it was just sort of a habitual, relatively forceful cough. This happened at yesterday evening 5/18/18. I threw thesandwich away after I paid for it, and bought another one elsewhere. I didn't say anything, because it's not my place todiscuss personal hygiene with others, I don't think. If someone in a restaurant doesn't know not to cough into the food by thetime they're an adult, they never will. Read more
Worst thing is they Won't accept Coupons! Sometimes hot sandwiches don't stay hot for long. Lots of good choices.
