I went in to return something I had bought from here a few days ago which was clearly expired or bad. All I wanted was to... replace the product and even showed the lady at the register the product, which she agreed didn?t look right. The owner sooncame and yelled tried to convince me there was nothing wrong with the product. He then proceeded to open a new product from theshelf cut it open in front of me and screamed in my face when this could?ve been resolved by them just replacing the expired/badproduct. Next time the owner should learn how to properly help customers rather than absolutely embarrass them and make themfeel very uncomfortable in front of the whole store. Will be taking my business elsewhere. Read more

First, there is no atmosphere. This is a store. There are a few seats if you want to eat there. There are many different... sandwiches to choose from. They also have soup. The sandwiches are around a foot long so you will get filled up. The soups arepacked with flavor. They will make your sandwich to your satisfaction. Arrive early since they are not open late. For some inexplicable reason I had not been in some time. This place has awesome sandwiches. They go by seemingly arbitrary... names, but I have yet to have a bad one. The Indy is my favorite. Cannot speak for all their soup options, but their lemon riceis meh. Regardless, great place to get a great sandwich and shop for some specialty items. Read more

The sandwiches are great. I will be back again for sure. This is the kind of place to try to eat every sandwich on the menu at... least once. House: The market/counter combo is a bit chaotic. Service: prompt service to take the order and all the sandwicheswere made fresh. Very hassel free. Food: I had the Crown Point (turkey, roast beef, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, mayo, cuty sauce)and my guest had the Saratoga (ham, turkey, bacon, provolone, lettuce, tomato, garlic mayo). Both sandwiches were good amount ofmeats and good flavors. The city sauce was a nice vinegar tang that complemented the veggies well. The garlic mayo was a subtleextra kick. Price: I was shocked at the low price. It's hard to find a great sandwich, drink, and chips for less than 10 bucksbut they do it here. Read more

So we go to purchase some items in the store, the box is clearly marked 4.99 and the "lady" at the register started saying... loudly to the other employees, "this price isn't right, it can't be 4.99, I've bought these before, they're 10 bucks" and I'mlike look, we always buy these here, all I did was walk over to the table and grabbed 2 boxes, they've always been 4.99. Soafter her not giving up, now the head cook goes around the counter to the coffee and says they're not 4.99, they're 5.99. Sothe "lady" says I knew they weren't 4.99 they just raised the prices and missed these 2 boxes, so I'm like yeah so the pricewas 4.99 because I was right and you acting like they're 10 bucks "its my job" congratulations on your accomplishment Read more

the sandwiches are so good, and I like the little European market inside. the Rome, the Chicago, and the Crown Point are all... solid. I'm addicted to these sandwiches for lunch since they're so close to work... I can't resist a Rome like 2 or 3 days aweek lol Read more

Absolutely love this local shop. I no longer live in crown point but always make a point to stop here when I can. Great small... business to support and the best sandwiches. Get extra garlic mayo on your sandwich - you won?t be disappointed! Read more
