Dont remember the last time I was out at the boat club rd location and never the less, I have arrived at this one. Well...the... drinks were good, service great but again...food not bad but missin some flavor, spice! Plate was perfect and I finished all myfood. This visit was our first time at Boo-Rays and we love Cajun Cuisine, so we tried all of our Cajun favorites! It was amazing... because the batter on the fried food was light and seasoned just right! The seafood was fresh and the rice based items weredelicious! It was pretty busy when we went but our server Destiny was awesome and very knowledgeable and patient with all of ourquestions and requests! We will be returning weekly for the specials! Went here for the first time today. Ordered a few drinks, fried gator app, and the jalapeño catfish. Gator was good and on par... with other restaurants, only con was the fries were room temp. The catfish was good and about as expected by discripton. Servicewas good and fairly quick even with a "backed up" kitchen per our server. They do offer a military discount but it was not whatwas expected per typical military discounts at other establishments. Read more
The food was really good and our server Destiny was fabulous! My favorite part was the dessert... pecan pie cheesecake!
First time at Boo-Rays. We sat upstairs at the bar. Meredith was our bartender/waitress. She was the only person trying to... tend to us at the bar and the floor. We ordered gator for an appetizer...very good! My husband ordered the "stuffed" chickenwith roasted corn and dirty rice. I ordered the shrimp po boy with fries. First, let me say...I do not like grilledchicken...BUT I tried a piece of my husband's chicken...It was AMAZING! Everything on his plate was great. I loved my po boy,it was huge...I only ate half. I ordered two of the swamp juice...GREAT! The only issue was the wait, but totally understand, because we witnessed how hard Meredith was working. Great experience overall. I absolutely loved the catfish!!!! The crabcakes were pretty good as well. I only took a star away due to the service our waiter... provided. He was not attentive at all and seemed to have forgotten about us. They are a little pricey but I think it's worth it.Their green beans are HORRIBLE though. Read more
Place is amazing, onky.gave 4 stars because they are under staffed and took a bit longer to get drinks then should of took,... food was amazing. Nothing I order was to spicy. I loved the sampler plate, had to order half since it was super big portion.Drinks are amazing too. All in all I give this place a 9. I will be back. Read more
