When an excellent hole in the wall! The staff were amazing and the food was even better! I can?t speak highly enough about the... excellent prime rib, cooked perfectly! I also had the potato boats which were monstrous and baked crispy. No shortage of flavorhere. 10/10 will return when in the Crossville area. Read more

Was looking for a place for a nice dinner with family on a Sunday afternoon and decided to try Beef and Barrel. It's not much... to look at from the outside and not too fancy on the inside, but I was pleasantly surprised by the food. Menu has a goodselection and I had the prime rib. I ordered the 10 oz cut, but it was huge, way more than 10 oz I think! It was the mosttender and juicy prime rib I've ever had.. Very well seasoned; It did not need anything else to make it taste good but I hadsome horseradish with it (which is I must every time I eat prime rib). Salad and baked potato were average. Could have usedmore toppings on the salad. The prime rib was good enough I will go back though. There is a bar in the back and and ask notto be seated there if you don't want noise from bar patrons and TV. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Read more

I stopped here on a whim, heading back to Nashville - and I?m glad I did. The flat-iron steak with chimichurri was great!... Delightful service from Donielle. Can?t wait to dig into the homemade German chocolate cake I got to-go. I?ll definitely be backnext time I?m passing through the area! Read more

I was hanging with family and visited BBR in mid afternoon on a Saturday. There were 7 of us. A small group does present... challenges to service. The server was very attentive and responsive to deficits in service. The meals served tasted great, butthe food quality was mixed. The egg rolls were ordered as appetizers. Two orders were placed and only one was served. Thechicken tenders were overcooked. The teriyaki salmon and pork chops were delicious. For responsiveness, the server gets a 5. Food quality, 4. Meal flavors, 5. Read more

We lucked into finding this great restaurant that also had a dog-friendly patio! We had the patty melt, the french dip, and... sweet tea. The cole slaw and french fries that came with our sandwiches were also great! The service, which Chelsea provided, was excellent! She provided fast, friendly service and even gave our dog some water and gave us ?to go? containers for our icedtea when we headed back on the road. A great experience all around. Highly recommend!
