This was our first visit there so we were not sure what to expect. We met a lot of very nice people there. It was apparent most... people there knew each other. The staff was friendly. As long as you realize you are in a "rustic" setting all is good. Thebest part for us was hanging out in the pool all afternoon just chatting with people. Visited for the first time and we are hooked! I have never been to a place like this before. I was very nervous upon arrival but... wanted to try something new. Immediately the staff was very welcoming. The young lady at check in could tell I was a bitapprehensive. She gave us a nice tour of the campgrounds and went over the rules. She helped set my mind at ease. All of thestaff was great, very friendly and took good care of us. The campers were also amazing. Everyone is very down to earth and wewere welcomed by all the regulars. There was never any pressure at all and I never felt uncomfortable. It was especially nice tobe at an adults only campgrounds and just enjoy the quiet, adult conversations, and drinks by the pool. It was the most relaxingtrip of my life. We rented the glampsite and it was very comfortable. It is just a small room and has the basics, bed, minifridge, microwave, and table. It was just the right amount of space needed. We didn't even spend much time in the room anyways.You use the bathouse for showing and toileting. This is not a 5 star resort and is very rustic and basic. Some areas could usesome cleaning up and upgrades but the environment, people, and relaxed vibe made it so you didn't even care about that stuff.Don't come expecting the Ritz, just come to have a good time!! Decided to take a random drive with no plans for our 5th anniversary, somehow we ended up at pandora?s Forest?? we were hesitant... at first being our first experience like this but we were blown away by how welcoming and comfortable the owners and everyonemade us feel! Pandora?s Forest is definitely NOT a 5-star resort but it is absolutely a 5-star experience. From the moment we got there,... everyone we met was so friendly and accommodating. Kara and Jerry, the new owners, are obviously doing all they can to updatethings and add to the experience. Dee was especially nice and we enjoyed visiting with her. The chalet, the bathrooms and allthe building are definitely rustic but things were kept clean. It was surprising at first to not have a bathroom with our roombut you get used to it. Our bed was really comfy and it was nice to have a mini-fridge in the room.. The pool was fabulous?thehot tub was especially nice on cool mornings. We are not night time people so the music and dancing wasn?t for us but it seemedlike everyone who went really enjoyed it. The food was really good too - tasty burgers, really good pizza and chickensandwiches and so reasonably priced. You can bring your own alcohol, which saves lots of money, and they provide free softdrinks and water, which is awesome. The location in the woods was so nice?we enjoyed listening to the woodpeckers. Lots ofpeople leave their campers there all the time then come whenever but there were lots of people who were there for the firsttime, too. We have been to lifestyle and nudist resorts all over the country and this is one we would definitely visit again.Don?t go expecting a lush resort because that?s not what this is but if you can manage your expectations and kick back, I don?tsee how you could be disappointed.
