In town for a girls trip and several people recommended Forte's. We called on a Friday to see how busy they were and couldn't... get in until late, so decided to make a reservation for Saturday evening instead. Must be good to be so busy! The menu had awide variety of choices including prime rib, chicken, seafood & pasta. We both had the Forte special which was prime rib (10oz) & garlic butter shrimp. The prime rib was cooked perfectly and delicious. The shrimp was not bad, but the rib wasdefinitely the highlight. One of us had the penne pasta with oil & garlic which was very good! Salad and bread were bothfreshly made. Dessert was milky way cake, moist and not overly sweet which was pleasantly unexpected. We also tried theItalian lemon cello cake - a must try! Our waitress was very nice and the owner stopped by to ask how everything was. Theywere all very friendly & welcoming. Would highly recommend not passing this place up! Read more

Good selections of food. Served warm and within a reasonable amount of time. The server could have been a little more attentive... but he was very busy and still provided good service. The French Onion soup was good. I could have drunk a gallon of it! Themedium prime rib was overcooked to medium well but seasoned well and tasted pretty good. The Downtown Garlic Shrimp wasdelicious and was an adequate portion. It is noisy in here but the tables are far enough apart you do not feel like everyone canhear what you are saying. Read more

We were looking for a nice dinner spot before going to the Playhouse. As visitors, all we had were reviews. Of 3 local... restaurants, Forte's had the most consistent 5 star reviews. We went early, which was good. The prime rib special was greatand my mate had seafood - shrimp, scallops and lobster ravioli. Good drink selection, good service, nice ambiance. Took homehome a great dessert for after the play. Go!! Read more

Definitely a must go to hidden gem! It is located next to the Courthouse in this quaint city of Crossville. The staff very... knowledgeable and friendly. Greeted with smiles as you enter. You can have a drink while you wait for your table, and it is wellworth the wait. The food is popping with flavor from the white chili soup, Maryland crab cakes, steaks, zucchini and tomatoesveggies to the decadent desserts. The Chef brings his/her own unique twist to compliment the flavors in each dish. Try theConfusion sauce and fresh made chips. Very good with a hint of heat. We are picky eaters and everything we tried was absolutelywonderful. Enjoy . Read more

Great service, excellent meal. Good French onion soup, had the Seafood Symphony, the scallops were cooked perfectly and the... lobster ravioli pasta with creamy crab sauce tasted homemade, finished off with coffee and a perfect cannoli for dessert. Read more
