A little taste of paradise! Super bright, energetic and friendly spot. Excellent island food and drink. Jo and I tried the... garlic shrimp and pork plates, as well as a poke cup and spam musubi. My wife and our next door neighbors stopped by Friday evening to try out the place for the first time, and we were not... disappointed. The portions were generous, and the food was awesome. We had the chicken, ribs, shrimp and a hamburger with eggsand gravy. We live in Benton Park, so this was a easy commute and the food and service was awesome!! Read more
Had dinner there tonight while enjoying drinks at tick tock next door. Two of us Shared the pupu plattter and it was so... delicious, very reasonably priced, and plenty of food. The marinated beef stick was especially good and the pork steam bun wasso flavorful. We will be back! Read more
Hands down the best Hawaiian food I?ve had, tied with what I?ve had in Hawaii. The poki is fresh and delicious. The pork has... that authentic flavor of smokiness. Wish I could give this place 6 stars. Staff is super friendly as well! Read more
I've been wanting to try this place since I heard of it several months ago and today I finally did. I'm sorry I didn't take... pictures...next time I will. I had the Kahlua Pork plate and it was amazing! So much flavor. Looks like a small-ish portion offood for the price but it was so filling. I also ordered Musubi, and let me just say that I have always hated Spam, likeforever...but it was so good that I guess I don't hate Spam?? The gentleman at the counter that I believe to be the owner wasvery nice and helpful ???? He didn't lie when he said I'd change my mind about Spam. Read more
