First time I've tried Dak, but certainly won't be the last. Got the spicy fried rice with chicken at "medium" and added roasted... peanuts. I'm glad I got medium, the amount of heat was perfect, and the flavors were great! There were tons of veggies in it,and they didn't skimp on the chicken either. My wife got the green curry with shrimp, and I was very fortunate to have thechance to try it as well, and it was excellent! The food was crazy good, came in generous portions, AND on top of all of that,my rice was $8 and the wife's curry was $9! What?! Can't wait to have it again! Read more
This is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in Lane County. Very affordable prices, excellent flavors, friendly staff, fresh... ingredients, and healthy portions. You will easily pay double the price in Eugene for the exact same quality. Why pay more whenyou can have the best in little Creswell Oregon? Thanks Dak Thai for always serving excellent That food! I'm very impressed with this unassuming and humble little place, so I'm going to write a long review to help get the word out. I... discovered Dak Thai on a whim last summer and have been their regular customer ever since. I have tried almost all of theirdishes and everything has been very delicious. Everything on the menu is basically $8-$9 depending on your meat choice, which Imust highlight because you get so much for such a low price compared to other Thai places. Their ingredients are fresh, thevegetables are crisp and flavorful (which reminds me: do check out the Mixed Vegetables stir fry, it has a light broth-likesauce, not too heavy compared to their other stir fries, great for a very light dinner). They have a great selection ofstir-fries and curries too. I tend to like my Thai food on the hotter side, and their medium is quite spicy, so be aware of yourspice threshold. They're doing just togo orders and there's no dine in though, so that's a bummer. But the wonderful service andthe food overrode that downside. Their consistency and attention to detail is something I appreciate, so 5 stars! Read more
