The lady who waited on us was very slow in getting to us & when she finally did she told us to look at the menu's but yet we all... already knew what we wanted but instead she wanted us to just take a moment! 10-15+ minutes go by & she finally comes back toget our order. I ordered a burger that came with hash browns. The one thing I did not realize is that waffle houses are no longer offering... french fries so this was news to me but I did not mind. Of course some nights I would have had my mouth watering for Frenchfries but this evening, hash browns were fine. Service was very good and when I finished my drink of choice, they refilled itquickly. Can't ask for much more than that and sometimes you don't get this type of service at fancy restaurants. Don't usually give 5 stars to waffle house but this one was great! So clean and such a friendly and welcoming staff! The food... was excellent, I don't know what they did but the grits were incredibly delicious! The food was fresh and made to our order andthe server was attentive but not overbearing. These guys were slammed for Easter Breakfast-Lunch and they kept that kitchen going so smoothly. Props to all the cooks and... waitresses. They were moving customers in and out so well. The interior was brighter and most Waffle Houses. The restuarant was clean and the staff was friendly. I ordered the steak and... eggs, it was better than expected. The waitress did mix up my friends hashbrowns but corrected it. Read more
