Reviews for Irwin Brewing Company’s Public House in Crested Butte, CO
Ambiance was nice, can be a little loud. Our waiter was wonderful. Food was great. I had the Parker burger (cheeseburger) that... came with skinny fries and a water. The food was a little expensive, I think $17.00 plus taxes for that. Crested Butte is anexpensive city though. I'm sure the restaurants have to pay their staff, taxes and price for food being delivered to them isexpensive and the price trickles to the customer. Overall, satisfied. Would try again. Read more
Some of the best fish n chips I?ve ever had, and I?m from New England. Had a side salad instead of fries and the side salad was... amazing - spring greens and the best vinaigrette. I barely like coleslaw generally and I ate it all. Huge craft beer selection.Taking a growler home. Service was excellent. Read more
We bought out public house for our wedding reception! The food was incredible, the General Manager, Kevin was so on top of all... the details, they had a ton of staff present for the day, and every single person working there was so friendly and helpful. Thestage and music venue downstairs was epic for dancing and for our DJ. We couldn't recommend Public House more. They took care ofeverything, the whole process was super easy, and we had such a memorable night. Thank you, Kevin and PH Team for throwing usthe party of a lifetime. Forever grateful for you all! Food was good with a good beer selection. We ordered an appetizer which came out with the food so while we ate out appetizer,... our food got cold. The waitress just kind of laughed when she noticed it came out together. For the price we paid, we shouldhave received better service. Read more
A group of 6 of us had an excellent supper. My brother has been going for years and said he's never had a bad meal there. The... service was great, too! We loved the fish and chips and the Bloody Mary was excellent! Read more
Food is average, cocktails great and service was very poor. Service was typical mediocre tourist town service. Our waitress... didn?t have a clue about the menu or options for liquor options for classic cocktails. She appeared to be aggravated anytime shewas asked to serve which is her job. The restaurant was fairly empty and we had to constantly hunt down the waitress to getanother round or have dirty dishes cleared. Can only recommend the drinks the rest of the dining experience was not memorable. Read more
Stopped in to try some of the beers from Irwin since the main brewery is production only. The beers were pretty good. I... especially liked the Mexican Lager. The cask condition pulls weren't my thing, but wanted to try them since there aren't manycask conditioned ales out there. We were still pretty full from lunch that we ended up back there a few hours later. The roastedbeet salad with blackened trout was good. It was a massive portion too! Bartender was really cool as well. Read more
Ever since the Public House opened, we?ve been huge fans. We love the beers, the entrees, the appetizers. Tremendously... disappointed this past weekend. The street corn app was STONE COLD (usually piping hot.) The trout entree was completelyflavorless. The Parker Burger was half the size of when it debuted. How can this restaurant go downhill so fast? Service wassuperb, staff is great. Food? amazingly worse Read more
