What can I say that people dont already know about this wonderful place. We started the day with an appointment in Kentucky and... we always look for a off the beaten path place to eat for our anniversary. The wife googled places to eat and we ended up here.We walked in and it looked old and rustic, but we love that over any chain restaurant. Its how you know the food is going to beamazing. After the wonderful service from our server she mentioned to a gentlemen walking by that it was our first time atPeeWee's. It was the owner of the place PeeWee, now for any of you who dont know this man you need to meet him when you come. 1minute into the conversation and you could tell he loves all of his customers and he treats everyone of us like family. Nomatter if its your first time or your 100th time. Ill tell you this no matter when our next appointment is in Kentucky we willnever go back to Ohio without stopping in to grab a plate of great food and a laugh with PeeWee. Great food and a great time! Everyone working there is very nice and friendly. We were traveling through and the owner sat down... and told about all the good places to go and was just overall very personable. Food was 10/10. Great sized portions for an evenbetter price. My fiancé and I went to peewees tonight and we loved everything about this place. We travel quite a bit and love going to... different spots. This place was at the top of our list. The food and the atmosphere was amazing. We met the owner peewee and hesat and chatted w/ us. We felt like we were family. I cannot recommend this place enough. I mean it just wasn?t the owner it wasthe staff and the patrons. I?ll def be going back there. If u get the chance do yourself a favor and stop there. You will not bedisappointed. Read more
Was there about 2 weekends ago, first time, and last. There's no signage or anyone to tell you to pick your own seat so we stood... at the door like idiots for 5 minutes before just deciding to seat ourselves. They were accommodating with my pickiness, whichwas great, and the waitress was very friendly. There was a large party (at least 15 people) that was already there and that tookup most of our waitresses time, which we understood and wasn't a huge deal. However, when I received my burger with a hair init, I knew I had to bring it up to the waitress! She immediately apologized and brought me a fresh burger that tasted/lookedbetter than the original one anyways!! The way she handled it kept this review from being 0 stars! She was a doll! To thekitchen staff, put your hair up/use a sticky/ use a hair net because it's obvious that this was not the first time they've had ahair complaint just by the disgusted look the waitress had! Where do I begin?? The service was impeccable. The food was delightful. The atmosphere is dive bar cool. I can't wait to go back... here. Little hole in the wall place with a large menu and good food! I had a Reuben with a baked potato and my husband had the Hanz... and Franz burger. We both really liked our food but he thought the burger needed some kind of sauce so he tried it with my 1000Island from the Reuben. It was perfect. Service was friendly and fairly quick. Peewee's Place is simply the best! We love to go with our family for the best hot breakfast in town, fun volleyball leagues and... general adult hangout. Bowling and golden tee for the kids plus loads of fenced in space outside for the kids to play. Servesare the best and feel like family.
