Driving along the Rugged Gold Coast of Oregon and California is a treat that everyone needs to experience. Sometimes stopping at... a beach or park takes longer than expected, delaying a traveller?s schedule. This is what happened to us and fortunately, inour case, we arrived at a place where Fisherman?s became our friend. They were one of very few restaurants open late , allowingus partake in local fare. Our arrival at Fisherman?s was timely and fortunate as they were near closing. We were quickly andpolitely brought our menus and asked what we wanted to drink. Our drinks were brought out while we were choosing. My wife optedfor a beef dip and I chose the club sandwich. It didn?t take long before they came to us and that was a good thing as we were onthe verge of ?hangryness?. The beef dip sandwich was below par. The bread was tasty but it had only one slice of beef in it andalthough the gravy was also good, the quantity or quality did not reflect the price. It came with a side of coleslaw which wasnice. It was cold and sweet the perfect amount of crunch! The triple-decker Club Sandwich on the other hand was as good as theycome! All meats were flavourful and veggies extremely fresh! The tater tots were a treat. It?s been at least five years sinceI?d had tater tots and these were fried to perfection! A different and perfect addition to the sandwich. The staff, especiallyour server was very friendly, helpful, polite and provided overall great service. We ended up being the last ones there andnever felt rushed. The restaurant was clean and bright and displayed local decor. I?d like to go back and try their chowdersand have another club. Read more

They deserve a 5/5; we were just a bit taken aback by prices (not being from this area). Anyway - easy to find, great service... (Erin), fast and friendly. Local beer was a great price ($5) and we sampled 2 dark bitter stouts. There was a special of theday, $26.99 for fresh halibut fish and chips. We got 2. The fish was great; the fries were the best we'd had in years. 4 piecesof fish, some chips, a really nice dilly tartar sauce and a nice little coleslaw (too little; I love coleslaw but it was astandard little plastic cup size). It was just like....$72 (before tip) for 2 people to have lunch was higher than we expected(being from Canada that's like $100). But you know what? It was great. How many times are you in California? Tip well and behappy with a fantastic food experience. They have a little souvenir store, too. Menu prices and selection are current as of Sept2022 Read more

We ordered 4 dishes. But except salmon fish n fries no other items tasted good. Garlic in the sautéed mushrooms was burnt,... grilled prawns had no flavor and tots were ok Read more

I don't think I've ever been to this little restaurant, but I like to try the fish and chips at different places in CC. Crescent... City is the spot! The Fisherman's batter and fry Cod in thick strips and pair it with fries or tater tots. I love it! It was notgreasy, like some fish and chips can be and was delicious! I had tots and they were pretty crunchy. Their coleslaw is about a 8,just a little sweet and tangy, but a tad mayonnaise-y. Meh. Coleslaw is always hit and miss with me, but it passed ???? Thetartar was nothin to shout about, but it worked. They have a bunch of souvenir stands to get Crescent City memorabilia. Theyalso had a dessert case and I had a pretty good-sized cinnamon roll. I picked the cinnamon roll because it wasn't slathered witha whole lot of nasty frosting all over it. It was very good. The ladies behind the counter were super nice and I think I will goback soon Read more

What a great place to stop and eat! Driving through the city I noticed a lot of cars here so I knew this was the place to eat.... The service was super friendly and made ordering a breeze. The portion size are not small which really makes the price ofanything u pick a no brainer. The fish and chips were extremely good and I would highly recommend! Read more

So delicious!! So glad we stopped here! We wanted to eat at one last fresh seafood place before we headed back to Montana. ... Everything was so yummy and fresh. We ordered steamer clams (my first time trying) very good and the clam chowder was very goodas well. Only complaint would be that the staff could be a little more friendly and welcoming other than that A+! Read more
