Perhaps the Galatoire\'s of Covington? I\'d heard it was noisy, but this is the sound of people enjoying good food, drinks, and... a great atmosphere. The French Onion Soup is the best I ever tasted. The cheese, draping the soup, is succulent and the rich, pleasantly bittersweet broth is unforgettable. The curry shrimp soup is spicy and filled with perfectly cooked veggies andcrunchy nuts. A nice variety of beers, wines, and special cocktails are available. Read more

EDIT: deducting 3 stars, first day open for lunch today 10/21/22, horrible service, went there for lunch, got there around 2,... left around 3:30. Took a good 20 min to even get our frickin drinks, there were only 4 other tables occupied in the restaurant, took forever to get our appetizers, then forever to get our entrees, when we finally complained to our waitress, she said theywere occupied with prep in the kitchen due to the first day being open for lunch?! Ordered ribeye and fish and chips, not surewhat takes so long. Doesn?t matter, not a win for the customer. Again, horrible experience for lunch.\n\nThird night open, it?sa win. The atmosphere is on pointe. This place is excellent. We?ll be back. From the top, ordered a white wine from Portugal(delish) and a red wine from Spain (also delish but full bodied). Clam appetizers were great, husband loved the lamb meatballsand polenta cakes. And he?s not even a fan of polenta. :). I ordered skirt steak, he ordered pork schnitzel, we would recommendboth. The chimichurri sauce on the skirt steak was the perfect compliment . Service was excellent and attentive. Desserts ofchocolate chip ice cream cookie with caramel ice cream (so so) and chocolate chip ice cream cookie with vanilla (much better). They were out of chocolate ice cream. Read more

Ok okay so I ended up here since ramen night was canceled and I have heard several people mention it before including owners and... ppl who work here. So I was like let\'s give it a whirl.\n\nSeveral sources told me the burger here was good. I almost despairedwhen I couldn\'t find it. Then alas the PUB BURGER (The claw form toy story moment) this was a very unique burger the cheesecrisp in the middle thew me off but the meat falls off the bun. It\'s juicy, it\'s flavorful WOAH! prob the second best burgerI\'ve ever had.... (I\'ll still put our moms burgers at 1 bc that\'s their specialty but this gives it a good run)\n\nThe bestthing though is the beer menu... Rubs fingers together. When I saw different regions on the menu with Belgium and St. BERNARDUS.Even though I said I wouldn\'t order alcohol I did. I was not let down.... Low and behold it came in a ST. B Official trappistbeer glass... Not going to lie I fangirled a little bit. Sometimes it\'s the little things that go the furthest.\n\nTheres over90 beers here giving chimes a run for their money at least on beer.\n\nThe staff was very friendly for a restaurant, myattendant was awesome which is rare in 2022. Tip of the iceberg\n\nThe house fries come with 2 different mayo sauces and agarlic sauce the chili mayo is excellent. The curry mayo is unique.\n\nClientele at the bar were also very friendly and its nicewhen you can hear others on their first times complementing the food here.\n\n100% recommend coming here if you are a beerdrinker or even for a excellent meal. I can see myself frequenting here quite a bit tho that might not be the best for thepocketbook ???????? it\'s not del Porto prices but it is a wee bit pricy but worth the penny.\n\nLooking forward to trying mostof the beers and food on the menu. Another excellent addition to the Northshore\n\n**BEWARE a LA Carte menu if asked about aside it\'s not included on the menu the sides additional (the fries were 10$) tho normally I\'d detract a Read more

You legitimately can not hear anything. The place us way to loud. Tables are not cleared even with groups of six and up. They... will have a hard time surviving if the establishment doesn\'t work out the kinks. The menu is steak, salads or pizza basically. Read more

Went here with my family. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. They have a large menu of European beers which was really nice.... Great fries. Good atmosphere. Good service. Very few complaints with the experience. Will definitely be coming back! Read more
