My mom and I took a day-cationed to the tea room. We were greated with friendly staff that not only complemented my mom's dress,... but after learning it was our first time, made sure we had excellent seating. Our waitress was sweet and extremely knowledgeableof the different teas. A whole different waitress than our own made sure we got a picture with the queen. The food was deliciousas we well the tea. I love the Tea Room. The theming is excellent and boats photos and art work of the royal family both past and present, locations... and events in British history, and a life size red phone booth. The tables are set with tea cups and sugar cubes. You can choosean assortment of English fare and tea is $5.95 with unlimited refills. You can try a many teas as you like either hot or iced.There are 6 pages of teas to try. I highly recommend the hot vanilla chai and the iced blue eyes (fruity) or iced mothersbouquet (floral) tea.
