1st time I visited Pat's Seafood on Hwy 21. I usually go to the Pat's on Collins Blvd. But it was closed due to a death in the... family. My deepest condolences to the family. So I drove to the market on Hwy 21. I drove a little further from my house butwell worth it. Seafood gumbo was excellent as usual. Bought 3 other items. Will post as soon as I eat them. I was very glad to see Pat?s Seafood open up near my house. I?ve been going to the location on Collins Boulevard for years, it... was always worth the drive. Now the same great seafood plus some new items are right on Highway 21. If you?ve never been, GO!and you won?t be disappointed. Great news for seafood lovers in Covington. Lisa and Ralph Patrick, owner's of Ralph's seafood, have opened a second location on... Highway 21 in the shopping center adjacent to the PJ's Coffee House. Those of us who live on the southern side of Covington nowhave a second option for the best fresh seafood on the Northshore. This is the fresh, upscale, and modern brainchild of Lisa. Itjust opened this week and is still awaiting the permanent sign. Word has gotten out, and Lisa, Ralph, and company are providingthe usual great customer service that has made them famous in our area. They have their signature prepared dishes as well freshoysters, boiled crabs and crawfish, shrimp, salmon, tuna, etc. Lisa's chalkboard menu offers classic Louisiana dishes from thechildren's book "Today is Monday in Louisiana". What a great way to introduce children to the book and the classic New Orleansdishes. Read more
