The food is ALWAYS great! I feel like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My problem was the service. We were... "greeted" by a very busy server. She never mentioned her name, brought us our drinks, forgot about us, then brought us ourmenus. I observed her running around the entire restaurant as if she was the only one working. She just always seemed to be in arush. The place felt very chaotic, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and unorganized. After about 45 minutes of waiting for ourfood (it was busy, I'm not complaining about the wait) our server brought us the wrong meal. Then I heard her tell anotherserver she didn't know what we ordered. Again, this server was all over the restaurant. I think with a little organization, thisplace could better serve their guests. You can tell this place is loved by many (to include myself) as there's always a wait. Itjust feels like they have an "every woman for herself" kind of system. Read more
The first time I ordered here i noticed how much food you get for such a great price. Since then, i have eaten here 3x/wk. I... started off with the basics: bacon, eggs, and a biscuit. The biscuits are particularly fresh. Crunchy on the outside, soft onthe inside. I got adventurous and ended up ordering Eggs Sardou (eggs on Artichoke Heart) and was not at all surprised that itcame out perfect! The servers here are wonderful. I have worked the service industry for almost 2 decades and you notice thingslike greeting the regulars by name and a smile. If i could give this place 6 stars i would! I enjoyed the food very much. It was timely and hot. They seem to have perfected the biscuit. My only problem, after... observing, I feel if I was male, I would have gotten better service. Everything delivered to us was like a drive by and it wasnot that busy. The girl dropped off everything so quickly that getting a ?go box? was almost impossible. Asked a second girl,she acknowledged me and moved on to someone else. Able behind us were all men and there was always some there to ask howeverything was. I found it strange that we were not asked how our food was. Other than the service, I will try it again, butat a different location. Read more
3/20/22 Arrived after 11:30 AM. The place was nearly full. I ordered a Reuben with sweet potato fries. The fries were good,... perfectly fried and not too salty. The Reuben was good and the plate was visually attractive. Service was good. The place wasclean and the ambiance was nice for that time of day and style of restaurant. I found the sandwich a little expensive, but mywife tells me I do not understand costs, especially now with inflation so high. All in all a pleasant visit. And my drink glasslasted me the meal. That was nice as I hate dry mouthing food. Read more
Hopefully this is not typical. The lady at the door asked us to sit wherever we want. After we sat down, it took more than 10... minutes for anyone to greet us and ask for drink order. This waitress said it wasn't her table but apparently noticed us notbeing helped and sincerely apologized- that was good. When I got my coffee, I stired it just to find half of a sugar packet. Mywife thought it was mine, but I showed her my complete empty packet on the table. Later on, we weren't checked on for a whileand had to wait too long for refills. My BLT was good. My wife's eggs, ham, and grits were fine. Her biscuit was generous sizebut crispy/dry/overcooked on the side. Not sure if this is typical, but maybe some people like this. T'was our first time dining in, we've done pick up before. Our server was nice, she accommodated us really well and made sure we... have everything we needed. We got the eggs benedict and the spoon slam. Both food were equally good. The place was clean aswell. Will surely come back next time! Read more
