Great food and service. Staff very attentive to needs. In town visiting granddaughter hotel concierge recommended it. Met Tony... (Owner) who took the time to give a little history about the place and told us about the other restaurant they own (Yuca).Before leaving Tony gifted us with a gift card that could be used at either location. We had the West Indies omelet. It was very unique and delicious. The Jamaican shrimp curry sauce was everything. We loved it.... They were also giving roses to the ladies. I will definitely go here again. Read more
Stopped by on a Saturday morning for a bloody mary and coffee cocktail. Great atmosphere, scratch menu (no frozen food, no... microwave). Could not resist the cinnamon roll flat bread!!! Worth exploring the whole menu. Read more
Great spot for brunch! The atmosphere inside was modern and bright with an outdoor patio for nice weather. Service was... excellent. Our wait to be seated on a Saturday morning was about 45 minutes. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles with hothoney syrup and I ordered the filet and eggs with a side waffle. Our food was delicious! My steak was tender and cookedperfectly. We both agreed our food could have been a tad hotter, but we would return and order the same thing again. Read more
This place is pretty fun. First, the space is really nice. It's got lots of natural light and the tables don't feel like they're... on top of each other. It is loud; but in a good way. The menu is one half food, and the other libations. We tried several of thecocktails, and none disappointed. I will mention that the devil's bloody is insanely spicy. We also indulged in the chef'sspecial french toast (pictured), which was fabulous. Not too sweet. I had the steak and eggs (pictured), which were cookedperfectly, and remarkably tender. I would definitely recommend this place for a hungover/boozy brunch. There's even outdoorseating for when the weather is nice and you want to keep the day-drinking going. Read more
Brunch with a friend this morning was so good! I hadn't been to Cedar before! Anna (Annamarie) was a wonderful server! I'm... looking forward to coming back again! The Steak Benedict was amazing! This restaurant is very nice! The whole brunch experience was the best I have ever experienced! The staff was so professional!... They made brunch feel like a fine dining experience! The food was delicious! I got a fall mimosa, which truly felt like fall inmy mouth and the hangover! The hangover was perfectly flavored with just enough spice to compliment my fall mimosa! Read more
Yesterday we ate at Yuca and were blown away by their flavors. I believe Yuca was the second of the this owners two... restaurants. We figured if Yuca was the second that Cedar would be even better. It had the same feel when we walked in astheir other restaurant did as it was clean, open and pretty. I was excited to try their food and we started with theirguacamole. It was amazing and the chips are freshly made and salted well! If you don't have a great love of salt, as I do, thenI would ask for lite salt. He ordered the fat Zach. It's one of those things where we could tell the flavors were on point butwe ordered wrong. He didn't like how much corn flavor the tortilla hAd..lol silly, I know, but he thought the corn overtookthe other flavors. I had a couple bites and it was very flavorful... I ordered the burger.. i forgot to take pics of the menuand it's changed since the website menu... but I think it was described as a blackened burger with shrimp and sausage gravy ontop and aioli spread. They were awesome to put both on the side as my husband won't eat shrimp and I'm not a fan of aioli. Everything was flavorful and very good with the burger!! I LOVE their fries as they are so flavorful you really don't want touse ketchup. Oh and the bathrooms are clean :) Read more
