This was my husbands and I first time visiting the restaurant! I had met Chef David the night before and he praised how great... the food was so I told him I was going to come and check it out! The next day we went for lunch and when we got to the counterwe were pleasantly greeted by the cashier! I inquired if Chef David was in and she immediately called him from the kitchen. Whenhe came to the front he was happy to see me and immediately called for the manager Shavon to come to the front as well. He said?this is the lady I was telling you about!? I was was so overjoyed that he had mentioned me to his manager! She was extremelypleasant and greeted us with much enthusiasm! She briefly went over menu and told us what were some favorites on the menu! Wedecided on the small family meal which was plenty enough for us to share. We started off with the banana pudding which wasphenomenal! As we enjoyed our lunch Shavon visited our table to see what we thought of our food and asked if we needed anything! The genuine customer service and delicious food sealed the deal for us! We really enjoyed eating lunch at the Skrimp Shack andwill definitely be back!!! Read more

Very welcoming staff and great customer service. Owners were present for any concerns if needed. The food was great and we will... be returning for more. We had the the big cat and shrimp dinner with the Mac n cheese, and also tried to ghost pepper spicyskrimp n fries. These are very tasty options and looking forward to trying the big cat samwich next time. We love to showsupport to black owned and veteran owners as we are a military family as well. Thank you for the advice, the kind words ofwisdom and spreading the knowledge all while getting good food. This was a great experience! Read more

The owners are Army vets just like my husband and Myself. We were welcomed with a smile as soon as we walked in the door. We... were given knowledge of the menu without asking, that deserves a 5 star rating by itself. We will Defiantly be coming back. Thefood was really good and a good portion. Read more

This was my first visit, let me say this to anyone reading this I am a very good cook an a foodie so keep in mind my experience... my not be yours. Firstly the customer service is awesome everyone is very polite and welcoming. I ordered the medium familybundle the food was bland some seasoning would've been nice; the fries were good, the hush puppies had a nice crunch on theoutside but were doughy on the inside I didn't see any peppers or onions but the taste was nice I ate the crust, the whiting andchicken are a no for me, I was hopeful with the banana pudding yeah nope again but the tea was good. Again try them foryourself they are really nice people. The pictures are after my family of 5 ate. Read more

The food was awesome and the portions are generous. The location is hidden back in the Kroger parking lot at the end. It has a... mom and pop family feel to it, but it's a franchise. The seafood is fresh and it offers flounder, catfish, and whiting. Basketsand po boys are also fan favorites . Read more

I really wanted this to be my new favorite fried fish spot but, unfortunately this is not it. The fish and shrimp were good but... nothing special, the seasoning in the batter was lacking. The collard greens tasted like nothing but the can they came out of. But I couldn?t be mad because this is a commercial restaurant..can?t expect too much. The tacos were good but you HAVE TO getthe spicy mango salsa. I spent over $65 on my order and the best thing was definitely the Mac and cheese. The one thing thatreally bothered me most was that I paid for my order online, and it was ready when I arrived, but I was told that the pricesonline weren?t updated and that I owed 71 cent. So I had to go back to my car to get my credit card so that they can charge me71 cent, just because they haven?t updated their online prices. I didn?t think it was worth inconveniencing me but hey it?s apandemic. This place is worth a try but don?t expect too much. Read more
