Ate here tonight and had a great meal. Only reason food is a 4 instead of a 5* is because you could tell some of the food had... been sitting under the heat lamp for a bit, but it was all still really tasty. The young lady at the counter was incrediblypolite and kind, and even apologized when she forgot to get us a part of our meal, and then made it for us really fast. Employee had fingers in the drink cups and around the lip of the cups when he handed them to us. He was wearing slides?, which... I would imagine is a safety issue and observed him coming out of his shoes several times. Water button was stuck in at the drinkstation so wouldn?t turn off without messing with it to manually pull it out?, which got my arm and the floor wet. No napkins.Floor was greasy and slippery throughout. Chicken (in the Chicken sandwich) had a rubbery texture. Tried to provide feedback viathe survey but didn?t work; go figure. Called the 800#. Person was on speaker phone and sounded like she was in a tunnel. Shenoted the above and thanked me for calling and wished me a great day! How about ending with apologizing/saying sorry for theoverall poor experience and a thank you for taking the time to call since the survey didn?t work, and hope that we will givePopeyes another chance for a better experience! Seems like the only consistently good (fast) food, good service and clean/nicelocation is Chick-Fil-a?, who even post the name of the owner! This is literally my first good experience at Popeyes for your last two years I?ve lived here in Covington, and I have Meri to... thank for that! I?ve waited in long lines in drive thru just for the person to give me attitude and be rude and wait til I putmy order in to tell me they don?t have anything I want. Meri got on there very politely to let me know what they already werelow on or didn?t have and because of that I was able to make a decision. I appreciated her professionalism and the fact that shewasn?t rude like the rest of the people working the window like they have somewhere better to be then at work. Thank you Meri ! Read more
Went inside to just grab a chicken sandwich, stood at the counter and no one seemed willing to help. Went back outside, got in... my car and went to the drive-thru. Ordered a buffalo chicken ranch sandwich and that was it. Got to my next stop and went totake it out of the bag and knew before I even opened it that it was hard as a rock. Completely burnt, completely dried out. Ihad to drive back to the store and get it replaced. The bun on the replacement was not much better. Maybe it's time to skipPopeyes for a while since everyone is making chicken sandwiches these days. Read more
The service at the Hwy 278 in Covington was great ????, and so was the food. The reason I am not giving a rating of 5 is because... they were out of most of the sides. I've stopped at this location twice and twice they were out of many of the sides. I will goagain because the staff does an outstanding job with what they have to work with ????. Read more
When I pulled up to the drive thru there were 2 cars ahead of me that were waiting to order.once the vehicle infont of me... ordered.I heard the female tell the 2 people ahead of me that they had no ice, no spicy chicken.After the suv in front of meordered the driver was told they could only take cash.The driver was upset and then a male manager told the driver that he wouldgive her all her order for free. When it was my turn to order I was told they were only taking cash.I was in this drive thruline for an hour. I had to back up as my 2 chicken sandwiches were missing.I was told to pull up and wait. No one came back outso I went inside to wait.$55 for an 8 piece meal,2 chicken sandwiches, 1 large & 1 small side. I paid extra to replace the 2thighs with 2 breasts (only received1 extra brest). The male coming in to start his shift made my 2 chicken sandwiches. The malemanager kept calling myself and the lady in front of me "love". There were boxes and trash all over outside by the drive thru. Iwill not come back to this Popeyes location again.They need new management and customer service training. Read more
Fresh and good! The customer service was surprisingly Great. I only gave it 4stars because this was one of the few times it was... GOOD up to Popeyes standards. Most times my chicken was cooked too hard (over cooked), chicken would taste like the greaseneeded to be changed, sometimes the sides aren?t the amount they should be and the customer service was not good most times. I really would love to give this location five stars because there are two managers there that are absolutely the best! The... reason I gave three stars is because the cook with dreads has either denied my purchase because he did not want to cook me 8spicy thighs (they didn't have any already cooked, this is the norm but that's okay) or when the managers are there and theyhave him make me the 8 spicy thighs, he selects the smallest thighs that he can find and I get all 8 very small thighs. Thislast time I patiently waited for the chicken to be cooked, I never complain because I appreciate that it's cooked fresh; howeverhe cooked exactly 8, as he was aggressively dumping them into the box one fell on the floor so he gave me one that had beensitting there for the whole 25 minutes that I had been waiting on him to cook my 8 fresh. To my surprise, the one that he gaveme that had been sitting there was double the size of the ones that he fried fresh for me, no it was not a breast I can tell thedifference between white and dark meat. If you don't like your job and you don't like dealing with customers, find a differentoccupation. Simple. Also saw the trainee cashier fix a 3 piece thigh for a customer with his bare naked hand because hecouldn't find the tongs hanging at the end of the heating counter/station (the customer didn't order a three-piece thigh, heordered a three-piece wing). I'm really not sure why anybody would think that this is sanitary. The cashier training him saidsomething to him about him fixing the food with his bare hand and his response was nobody can see him. He thought nobody couldsee him because his back was turned but I was at an angle, no telling what's done when nobody really is not watching. Read more
