Pork, chicken and Turkey had no flavor. If they were smoked, you wouldn't know it. Mac & cheese was like boiled noodles with no... cheese. Onion rings were very fat and greasy. They get 3 stars because the brisket, ribs and potato salad were pretty good andthe stew was excellent. Read more
Got takeaway meal on June 9th. Cost was $13.33 and I left a $3.00 tip for a total of $16.33 (more than 20%). Had to go online... to check my checking account for another reason on June 13th, and discovered that Cowboys had hit my checking account for anadditional $3.00 after I had left the restaurant!! Guess my first $3.00 tip wasn't enough. Having $3.00 stolen from me tellsme all I need to know about this establishment, and how they value their customers...........you've been warned. We really enjoyed the BBQ! The brisket had gotten good reviews, and we totally agree! The turkey and pork were also quite good.... The ?hot? sauce isn?t too hot. The Brunswick stew had a little heat to it, which is unusual, but I enjoyed it. Service was superfriendly! The dining room is rather worn, even by BBQ standards, but we enjoyed our visit and would be happy to come again! Read more
My food looked horrible!!! But I tasted it anyway ( I am a culinary student) all though the pasta was cooked nicely aldentè... there was no flavor of cheese or anything and the meat was burned beyond edible. The house sauce was pretty good tho. I gotlemon pepper wings that were huge and had no lemon or pepper. 61.00 garbage. Didn't wanna give any stars. Read more
Excellent service ... Wonderful food....we even had to get a quart of the Brunswick stew to go... After we ate a full lunch... meal With smoked wings and pinto beans & A baked potato with pulled pork and cheese with a side of sour cream and cream cheesepound cake.....etc,. Etc.... Read more
Absolutely loved my lemon pepper wings. A little disappointed they didn't have any smoq flavor in them. The hot wings was tasty... as well just not as crispy which is how I prefer them. Overall the service was good and look forward to more wings from CB. Read more
